  • Great, cheap way to upgrade an old computer or add functionality to a budget computer.
Style: AX900 WiFi w/ Bluetooth 5.3.
This works awesome on my 10 year old laptop. My laptop would get maybe 40-60 Mbps on the same wifi that my phone will get 700 Mbps. After getting this and disabling the internal wireless card so this is the default wireless device, I get 150+ Mbps. The Bluetooth works well too, but I don't have to remove my controller and re-pair it when I connect it to another device and try to reconnect it to my laptop. My laptop had no problem with the driver. Great speed boost, and decent range as well. ... show more

  • Excellent solution for problematic wifi
Style: AX900 WiFi w/ Bluetooth 5.3.
Very fast and reliable device, provide me with relatively cheap solution for the slower and problematic built-in wifi and BT. The only tiny drawback is that windows will activate the USB kinda late in the bootup, but its windows drawback not the device.

  • A Compact Dual‑Band Adapter With Solid AC‑Class Performance and Efficient RF Behavior
Style: AC600 WiFi
The TP‑Link Archer T2U Nano AC600 is a deceptively capable nano‑form‑factor adapter built around the 802.11ac standard. Despite its tiny footprint, it delivers stable dual‑band connectivity and respectable throughput for everyday computing, streaming, and general wireless workloads. Wireless Standards & Band Support This adapter supports: • IEEE 802.11ac (5GHz) • IEEE 802.11n (2.4GHz & 5GHz) • IEEE 802.11g/b (2.4GHz) This dual‑band flexibility allows the device to operate efficiently in both long‑range 2.4GHz environments and high‑speed 5GHz networks. Speed Ratings & Throughput The AC600 classification breaks down as: • 433 Mbps on 5GHz (802.11ac, 1×1 stream, 80MHz channel width) • 150 Mbps on 2.4GHz (802.11n, 1×1 stream, 40MHz channel width) In real‑world conditions, users typically see: • 5GHz: 200–300 Mbps sustained throughput depending on router quality and RF congestion • 2.4GHz: 40–90 Mbps depending on interference and channel saturation For a nano adapter, these numbers are strong and consistent. Chipset Behavior & RF Performance The T2U Nano uses a compact internal antenna optimized for near‑field efficiency. While it won’t match the range of full‑size external‑antenna adapters, it performs well within: • Small to medium rooms • Apartments • Office environments with moderate RF noise The 5GHz band remains stable at short to mid‑range distances, while 2.4GHz provides fallback coverage through walls and obstacles. 🔌 USB Interface & Power Draw • USB 2.0 interface • Low power consumption suitable for laptops and small‑form‑factor PCs • Minimal heat output even under sustained load Its “plug‑and‑forget” design means it can remain connected without risk of bending or port strain. Driver Support & OS Compatibility The adapter supports: • Windows (various versions) • macOS (depending on version) • Linux (with community drivers) Driver installation is straightforward, and the device enumerates quickly with stable behavior across reboots and sleep/wake cycles. Ideal Use Cases This adapter excels in: • Upgrading older PCs to 802.11ac • Improving laptop WiFi performance • Travel setups requiring ultra‑compact hardware • Users who need dual‑band flexibility without bulky antennas Final Verdict The TP‑Link Archer T2U Nano AC600 is a technically solid, RF‑efficient nano adapter that delivers reliable AC‑class performance in an incredibly compact form factor. While it won’t replace high‑gain adapters for long‑range or heavy‑throughput workloads, it’s one of the best “everyday use” nano adapters available — stable, fast, and impressively engineered for its size. ... show more

  • Super compact with decent performance. Great for laptops.
Style: Bluetooth 4.2 with Wi-Fi
Due to a botched repair (My fault...again...) I had to convert the WLAN card slot in an older Yoga laptop to use an compact SSD card instead. This meant that the laptop no longer had onboard WiFi or Bluetooth. I am a retired Wi-Fi field engineer and I know a bit about client performance. First priority here was preventing damage to the USB port, which meant it had to project less than a half inch from the body. It also had to provide Bluetooth. My expectations for performance were minimal and I expected all kinds of grief from power management turning the adapter off during sleep, doze, etc. This adapter more than meets this size requirement. -And surprise surprise, it works much better than I'd hoped. It easily saturates my cable modem link (150 down, 15 up) and more importantly, the link is consistent during Teams meetings and voice calls. The AP I'm using is 10' away on the other side of a kitchen wall. My PHY rate is 250mbps as I write this (5Ghz, 80mhz channel, 1SS, Wi-Fi5/AC link) and the external mouse is BT connected. Too much attention is paid to signal strength and even data rate. What really matters is link consistency and this thing hits the mark. I've been using it for weeks and don't remember having any link drops or issues waking up from power save. There was one occurrence where the laptop went to sleep during a Google Voice call, and the stream was interrupted. It came right back after wiggling the mouse. (BT has been flawless). It's a little expense in my opinion, but as far as I know this is the smallest USB WLAN adapter out there so maybe it's worth the premium. It does allow me to keep this old (But expensive) laptop on the road for another year or two. It dropped right in to Windows 11 without any manual driver installation. My network is WPA-2 so I can't speak to WPA-3 support. I also messed with the super-cheap adapters you can by on the direct-from-china sites. Don't bother. While the size is right, they are consistently awful, even at $5. If you need a tiny Wi-Fi adapter, get this one. ... show more

  • It works!
Style: AC600 WiFi
Well, had to move a computer to a different room and it did not have wi-fi capability built in. I usually connect everything I can with CAT 5 cable. I had a different brand of WIFI USB adapter, and it just was not working right, kept disconnecting and connecting. So, I bought this TP link Nano. I'll tell ya, it just works. And it consistently works with no issues at all and is very easy to set up. I definitely recommend this WIFI adapter should you need one. ... show more
