First, I think it is a very attractive unit that produces quite believable flame visuals. The variety of color options are nice, however, I wish there was an option to dim the base. Or have a true RGB led setup to customize the flame and base setup with significantly larger color options. The log base, in my opinion, looks out of place and has a strange arrangement. I would have preferred smaller logs that are placed in a more realistic manner. I opted to use the clear "crystals." A few notes: Shipping: My unit arrived and appeared undamaged however when testing the unit prior to install, there was a very annoying knocking sound. Upon further inspection, I discovered that the back panel that the flames reflect onto had shifted out of it's intended location. Once I forced it back into it's location, the knocking stopped. I imagine this happened due to rough handling by UPS. Install: I built my wall specifically for this unit so I followed the dimensions listed in the manual for the recess. I added 1/8" just to be sure. Even with this addition, it was a very tight fit. However, the most annoying part about this install was that the manual/diagram fails to indicate that you need additional space at the top for the glass to properly install. I had to remove approximately 1/2"x24" slot in the drywall directly top center of the opening to get it installed. If I installed another unit, I would create the opening 1/4" wider and 1/2" taller.

So far so good! Colors are nice and it’s easy to operate. Log arrived broken in shipping but seller immediately mailed a new one no questions asked. Heat works good! We love it!

I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars! Love the product, but I do hear a soft clicking noise every 3 seconds that I want to investigate before we put it on our wall. Everything is high quality! When we took the glass panel on and off to put crystals in the display, the springs that control the buttons got a little messed up but still work. So be careful with the buttons Otherwise great product. Just those minor annoyances. UPDATE: The noise got a little worse for a few days, but I did get a USED product so hopefully you buy NEW. Maybe someone messed with this! Luckily we live in Arizona so we don’t use it enough for me to care to get a new one, because it does look very very pretty UPDATE UPDATE: it’s the next year and I don’t even notice the noise! It’s awesome!

I normally don’t buy lower priced items With the general believe that in the last means you get less but decided to risk it by purchasing this unit that was significantly lower priced than others of the same size. It looks great and was super easy to install. I would definitely purchase it again.

The product arrived on time and very well packaged with plenty of protection. Installation took a while, but once done, looked awesome. We went for the flush mount look with the logs for the tradititional/modern look. Changing the logs to the stones as the bed is slightly involved, although not impossible. Totally recommend this fireplace since this is one of the few electric ones that can be mounted flush against the wall.

I have doubt if it really heats up as per the temperature that is set. It doesn't heat up or blow any air till I set to 79 F. Most general heating units blow hot air at a 70F. The Customer service just tries to convince me telling that it functions properly, and am really confused. How can a heating unit not blow hot air at 70F, also given that I switched on the unit after 10 hours of no usage. So, it is not really the reason of the unit not heating up due to the unit coils/filaments already being hot. I have now high doubt if the temperature controls are just a mere show piece, and if they are indeed actual temperature for setting. I ran with 72F for an hour, and no hot air yet:( I am confused if it is a faulty unit. I don't know if it is a faulty unit i received, and am thinking of returning. I also hear a buzzing sound constantly on when the unit is running irrespective of if the heater is on or not. The buzzing sound is on, even if just the flame lights are on. I have few other electric fireplace, and they promptly heat based on the set temperature, and I can't believe how this doesn't serve even the basic feature of heating up at 72F, and if it is just a mere show piece. I am not satisfied with the product quality except for the looks. I wonder how they pass the quality inspection for this big unit.

We received the product and installed it. When we turned it on you could hear a loud clicking. We had to uninstall and then while it was on a floor cover we had to open the entire back up. We realized the turning mechanism was not attached to the bar correctly on one side. So after reattaching to the turning mechanism the little mirrored pieces were still hitting because the bar was bent from not being attached properly. We had to take scissors and I would turn it on and then stop when we heard it touch and cut it off with scissors one by one. That was really annoying. Fixing all of this was tedious and annoying. Wouldn’t recommend this product.

Had our contractor install this in our basement almost 4 months after we bought it, and had no issues. Looks awesome even in a lower than usual position under our TV, closer to the floor. It's summer now so we're not using the heat, but the heater does seem to work well with not too much fan noise. It's got temperature settings between 17 and 30 degrees Centigrade, low and high blower levels, along with a timer, I tried the heater to check it out and seems effective. Won't know how good it is until winter rolls around, but we bought this mainly for the looks anyway. With 4 combinable flame colors and 10 log colors you can customize the look to your heart's content. Overall it's just amazing and we're enjoying it every day.
