First, the picture looks nothing like what I got. The seat is one solid ugly piece of wood, whereas in the picture it is made of three slats. The wood in the picture looks to be yellow pine, what i got is, I think basswood, very light colored with little graining, like popsicle stick wood. The one I received was also put together incorrectly and crooked. I had to remove the back slats, which were put behind the back support, and glue them to the front of the supports, like they are in the picture. ... show more

Comes put together...back is glued on the wrong side..not glued together straight...bottom of bench is one piece of wood ..not slats like in picture...
