This is replacing a decade-old model. It's an attractive unit and fits nicely on our Delta round shape toilet. Installation was easy with minimal fuss, a big improvement over the previous model. More attention is paid to ease of cleaning, which is a nice plus. Use is easy, comfortable and hygienic. Overall, it's a lot more value for less money. This was about 30% the cost from a decade ago, has more features, and didn't need to be brought back in luggage from Asia and adapted to US plumbing. ... show more

    • Got it for fiancé, but now I wonder why I never had one
Works well, didn't think it would be one of those things that I'm like "how'd I live without one"...but really it has been. We still have the same few rolls of paper since I installed it and doesn't look like I'll be needing to get any for some time. Once you get use to it and I was very hesitant to care about this thing at first, its actually much more convenient. You got heated seats, power washer, and a blow dryer... its a car wash for your... uh u know. Wasn't too hard to install either, got it done in less than an hour, just needed to buy a flex water line to make it work. ... show more

    • Yes I think it's worth it
It's a Toto, it's expensive! But after owning a Brondell SE400 for 1.5 years I think the design is definitely more thoughtful and the build quality better. My biggest complaint about the Toto is that the warm water reservoir seems rather small. Run it about 15 seconds (average pressure) and the temperature will start to drop. I needed a repair for the Brondell while it was still under warranty, and after it was out of warranty the wand would sometimes blow air for a while instead of water. The seat would sometimes get weirdly hot -- not dangerous hot, but hotter than one would expect for having it on the lowest heat setting. The spray positioning often had me having to shift myself way back on the seat -- the forward/back buttons never got it to the right location. The Toto's seat temp seems quite consistent and the rear spray hits square on the *. The front spray isn't as forward as I'd like, but I'm okay adjusting myself there. The spray quality seems better, too. A feature the Brondell lacked was premist. This is an incredibly useful feature. I noticed stuff getting onto the sides of the bowl and sticking there despite flushing; premist gets the sides damp so particles don't stick and no need for post poop brushing. The installation manual, however, is terrible. There's just not enough information -- even the drawings are kind of unclear what things are. The seat slides a bit at the front even though the mounting bracket is tight. I messaged with Toto and they said the seat movement is normal, which I think is a bit crazy. ... show more

Easy-ish to install. Great delivery. Warm water and heated seat is way more comfortable than cheaper bidets. Worth it.
