Also comes with a pair of gloves too, but I don't actually use them since they are too small for me, but fit my wife's hands perfectly so I gave those to her since she will also be using this product. That's how simple it is to use, she watched me the first time I used it after it arrived and she is confident she will have no problem doing it herself when I go back to work in the next month or so. I bought this sharpener to service my Husky 445 and I have not been disappointed. I've tried several other devices and this has been the best that I have tried so far. The only criticism I have for it at this time is that the owner's manual is a little vague and none of the pictures depicting how it works show it actually mounted on a saw. That is only a small problem because there are fortunately many how-to videos on You Tube for this type of sharpener (different brands but very similar design) that are very helpful. Overall, I'm very happy with it so far. I have only had to use it a couple of times so I'm not sure on its durability. ... show more

This is a NICE Carbide Chainsaw Sharpener! Easy to set up sharpener! And easy to use! The Carbide bit does a great job! And it is holding up well! Sharpens the tooth with just a few cranks! They really should specify what chain pitch this is made for. I run a 365 special with a 3/8 chain pitch and the sharpener is made for a .325 chain pitch. All the sharpener did was dig into the chain and did not sharpen the correct part.

This thing has already paid for itself by not having to buy as many new chains. Just attach it to the bar to align the sharpener with the opening to sharpen, turn the knobs, and move the chain through the opening and sharpen each tooth. You use the top screw to put tension on the tooth so the sharpener itself works the best. You don't even have to turn it around to do all the teeth.
