Description

Alumipaint AF is an antifouling paint specifically formulated for aluminum and pontoon boats. Aluminum or pontoon boats used in salt or brackish water require protection from fouling organisms like algae, barnacles, mussels, slime, and weeds just like steel, fiberglass or wooden boats. However, traditional bottom paints containing cuprous oxide (copper) are problematic due to the electrolysis that occurs when copper contacts aluminum.
