    • Looks and sounds good but equipment is difficult, clunky and lacking
Thorough Professional review: It’s great but it’s not. As a Professional Athlete, performer and Fitness trainer for all 20+ years of my career I had high hopes for this. My 75 year old mother bought this because the infomercial made it look so easy (oh, and by the way, I was a trainer for infomercial testimonial groups and dvd’s) After it was sitting in my old bedroom a year I thought it would be perfect to get the full body strength I need to do acrobatics again. It does have endless possibilities for exercises, but the equipment itself is EXTREMLY difficult. It’s difficult and awkward to just open up and re-fold before and after a workout. It’s nearly impossible to do a set of different exercises in one position, it’s extremely clunky and sometimes the sliding board just falls off the track. I have spent more time in my workouts adjusting the equipment, particularly the cable pulleys whose anchor consistently falls out if there not in use (again, making it impossible to do a set alternating of even two exercises unless you want to overtrain a muscle group by doing variations of the same exercise) My genius husband eventually zip tied the anchor point so it wouldn’t keep falling off on me. More time is spent transitioning exercises or changing the placement of the sliding bench than one actually does in an exercise. It’s bulky and clunky. Very annoying to deal with. If it’s this difficult and inefficient for ME to move around, how was my 75 year old mother ever going to use it, She’s not. Not because she doesn’t want to, because it would be even more impossible for her to even try. To the point: The theory behind the workouts on this equipment look and sound efficient and effective. But in actual use I find this lacking. Definitely not worth the price tag. I have an entire gym set up in the basement that cost a fraction of this. I thought it might make a great addition to my workouts, and I am able to do some unique sports specific training angles, but more time is wasted just moving this awkward clunky thing around.
