Stay away. This winch is really cheaply made and the gears bent past each other when I was using it to lift a 150lb load. We had to catch the object (a large inverter) and brute force it up on to a bracket. Someone could have been seriously injured. Not only that, the ratchet pawl slipped and would not hold reliably. This thing is stamped sheet metal and the metal is not nearly rigid enough to be safe. The stamped metal gears have rounded teeth so the want to slip off and the flexibility of the metal and fixings make this a likely scenario under load. ... show more
