  • At 64 inches its solid but tight for 6 adult bikes
It assembled and stays firm in the shed I am building to hold 6 adult bikes ( 2 mountain, 2 road and 2 hybrids) but it was quite tight and the bikes but each other so I added a piece of 2x4 between the studs with another hook at one end of the bike rack to be able to spread the bikes out a bit further so they hang freely without hitting each other. The large size of the hooks allow you to twist the other bikes to the side to get access to the particular bike(s) you want to use. I also installed one bracket slightly lower than the 3 others for the 2 shortest bikes I have to help offset the bikes to fit better. Fyi, My shed is 12 feet wide and 67" deep minus the width of the 2x4 and plywood framed walls so the bikes fit upright against the back wall with sufficient room to walk between them and the front wall and maneuver them. ... show more

  • Great, but it can fall off the wall!!
We liked that this bike rack can fit all of our family’s bikes in the same place, but we had to re-install it twice, because it would just fall off the wall. The wall anchors and screws that came with it are not strong or long enough, so we had to get other types.

  • Decent Hanger for Bikes, note the spacing needs and height differences
Overall this is a decent hanging system. It was simple, effective, and reasonably well built. I was able to hang 3 - 4 adult bikes by spreading out the rails. A few things you will want to consider as I've learned after installing them. Bikes are not the same size, the chances that you will have multiple bikes that are able to use the same bracket height is probably slim. I have a family, so even though my pre-teen kids are in Adult Small bike frames, they aren't as long as my XL or my Wife's M bikes. I was able to accommodate three bikes in the space I was hoping to fit six, but it's just not going to happen to leave usable access to the bikes. Handlebar width is the biggest issue, make sure you measure bike width before you go all-in thinking you'll get a full 6-bikes worth of space in this system. The picture shows staggering hanging orientation, which seems to work ok, but it does cause some additional headache when dismounting the bike if the handlebars are directioned towards the ground. Also note, you'll get tire tracks and black marks all over your walls when mounting and dismounting the bikes, so be prepared if you have light walls you would like to keep looking clean. ... show more

  • A great option for holding a lot of bikes.
I had originally created a DIY to hold a number of bikes, but it fell off the wall after a year. This product was really good and only took about :30 minutes to put up. I had 6 bikes and it was easy to manipulate it. Also, It allowed for the proper counterbalance off the walls so the bikes don't fall on each other. The secondary, shorter hooks are great for helmets, but honestly, when you have lots of bikes next to each other, they are hard to get to. ... show more

  • Too much frame flex and sag for fat tire bikes.
I purchased this item because I have two fat tire bikes, and the item is advertised to handle them. Well, the hook fits the bikes' wheels, but when I installed the frame and tested it, the frame flexed so much that I immediately took the bike off for fear of it falling. The only way I could use this item was to mount the frame and hook low enough so that the bike rests on the floor, taking the weight off the hook. I could have achieved the same result with a couple of garage hooks costing less that 10 dollars. If I could have gives the "Sturdiness" rating a zero, I would have. This may work fine for kids bikes or lightweight road bikes. ... show more

  • not a one size fits all solution
We had high hopes for this bike storage rack, envisioning a neat and space-efficient solution for our bikes. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a mismatch for our specific needs and space, leading us to return the product. Initially, the installation posed its first challenge. Our concrete walls required us to purchase additional hardware, which was an unexpected hassle. Once set up, the rack didn't quite live up to our expectations in terms of space-saving. Contrary to what we had hoped, it seemed like we would end up shuffling the bikes around more than we liked. Moreover, the bikes didn't feel entirely secure on the rack. This lack of stability was a significant concern for us, given the value and importance of our bikes. While this rack might suit someone else's space and needs better, it just wasn't the right fit for us. It's a reminder that what works in theory doesn't always pan out in practice, especially when it comes to storage solutions. ... show more

  • Good value bike mount
The media could not be loaded. The rack installs easily and easily holds 6 bikes plus helmets/gear bags. You have to plan on prioritizing which bikes are used most getting the middle bikes out first is tough. You can rotate the outer bikes to access the inner but it’s just easier to grab from the outside and work in. ... show more

  • Nice but broken
The rails were nice and easy to install but 2 of my bike hook hangers were bent bad and don't hold the bikes well at all. I called for new hooks and was told no. I'm just going into a store where I can return if needed.
