I had high hopes for this product. I had used sand bags for years but they can be very hard to lug around. Unfortunately the water leaks out after a few days. Not sure where from but it appears to be a seam. 😢

I chose this item because it looks very durable. My first time using and they leaked from the bottom all over my car. Overpriced & unreliable. Do yourself a favor and buy actual weights.

We filled these up and then left them sitting to test them out and make sure there were no leaks. The plastic feels heavy duty and like it won't tear or puncture easily. When full these weigh almost 23 pounds, which feels like plenty of weight per corner to hold down our canopy in wind or a rain storm. They collapse down to a pretty small size for storage and when full they even sit steadily on their own due to the flat bottom. Overall I'm very happy with these and glad to finally have them. I much prefer the water weight bags to sand since they can be filled on site and we don't have to haul and store heavy sand bags. ... show more

I have used sand bags also but they are harder to fill up and these you can take with you on a camping trip and all you need is a water source to fill them. They are thick and good quality and do not leak. Highly recommend.
