  • Love this potting bench!
Color: Natural Wood
I bought the Topeakmart Potting Bench due to its reasonable price Its size. Sturdy once it's put together. Its smaller so it fits in my garage & is easy to move. I finished the wood with a wood preservative because the wood was so nice. I'm very happy with this purchase & would recommend to anyone.

  • Instructions aren't very helpful, but not too difficult to figure out
Color: Natural Wood
The instructions were pretty bad, difficult to see orientation of screws/nails were supposed to go. But it wasn't too difficult to get the hang of ourselves. It took about 2 hours to build. It's pretty sturdy, but not the best quality wood, so I would weather proof, or at least put protective covers on it. Looks great and it's just what I wanted. Cleaning is rough, because you won't want to wipe it with a damp cloth in fear of damaging the wood. ... show more

  • Nice bench, will meet our needs.
Color: Natural Wood
If you feel like you've read this review before it's because we bought two benchs from two different sellers. We gave both benches 5 points for the price and for meeting our needs. Even though this bench developed a crack in the bench top, I still feel like the wood on this bench is harder and feels sturdier. A little wood puddy should fix it up. My husband put the benches together and didn't complain too much. The drawer fit better on this bench and slides well. After giving the bench a quick sand and a couple coats of clear coat, we think it looks pretty good. Both benches are going to live in our little greenhouse (also bought on Amazon), so it won't be subject to the PNW rain and snow. The little top shelf on both benchs are too narrow. I was hoping to put 4" pots on it, but the saucers won't fit. Altogether, I was suprised how much we were able to get on the bench top and lower shelf. I can't imagine keeping it outside in the elements, but I believe that it will hold up fine for our greenhouse needs. We paid more for this bench, despite the crack in the top, this was the better bench. Purchased February 2023 ... show more

  • Very sturdy and useful potting bench
Color: Natural Wood
My wife really likes this potting bench. She does a lot of gardening, and this is perfect for all the smaller gardening projects she does involving plants in pots on our porch. This is very solid and well made. It should last a long time. You will have to assemble the entire unit. Fortunately, all pieces are clearly labeled with stickers which makes this a lot easier. The instructions were just pictures which worked fairly well but could have been clearer in certain areas. I was concerned with the lack of pilot holes in the receiving legs when screwing in certain cross members. This made me wonder if I was lining them up correctly. I did have to unscrew and re-screw one piece of the draw because of this. The other issue is that one of the hooks was broken off the mount that gets screwed into the side. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying. Overall, the solid nature of this potting bench is the best part of this bench. It feels well-made yet it is not too heavy. ... show more

  • Sturdy . . . but
Color: Brown
Directions provided were NOT helpful. We had to pull up the picture from Amazon to make heads or tails out of them. The wood is really cheap. Used a hand screw driver and it still split in several places. Thankfully we were able to glue it. Also, the ends did not always line up - while perfection is not expected, it should be at least flush when put together. Some of the ends were about 1/8 to 1/4 inch off. While it seems sturdy, it may not last more than a couple of seasons (due to the cheap wood). The bench is on a covered porch, however we are not overly optimistic. To help preserve it further, used polyurethane on it. The wood was very "thirsty" for the product. It was not returned as we are stubborn and once we got it figured out and together, we were not taking it apart. On a positive note is really pretty. Especially after the polyurethane. ... show more

  • Perfect for My Needs
Color: Natural Wood
I bought this to use as a kitchen in my campervan because it was the perfect all around size. It was easy to assemble and when one of the boards split when screwing it together, I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me a new board. I like the small upper shelf and several lower shelves. I already had 2 baskets that fit perfectly on the right side. The sink is a bonus even though I don't have it plumbed for running water, but it is possible. I use the sink to hold and secure small items when traveling to keep them from falling or getting damaged. I changed the drawer pull and added a matching one on the right side even though there isn't a drawer there and think it looks better with both. On the left side I added a curtain using a tension rod so this is an idea if you are using this item in your home to make it more attractive. Since I love to glam everything up, I added peel & stick tiles (available here on Amazon) to the drawer and "fake" drawer across the front. The drawer is large and holds so much stuff I need in the camper. I use a bamboo adjustable silverware tray inside the drawer to hold lots of utensils. Think of using this garden potting bench not only outside but in a small kitchen, a studio apartment or even in a tiny house. The price is reasonable for everything this item has to offer. I love my "kitchen" and think it is perfect. ... show more

  • Not bad for the price
Color: Natural Wood
I’ll start by saying I really like this bench and once it’s put together it looks really nice, just as pictured. It’s what you would expect for the price, however. It’s definitely a 2 person job to build, and there were no pre-drilled holes so it was somewhat a guessing game of making sure the pieces lined up correctly. We used a drill and it wasn’t too bad aside from the wood splitting in some spots. Otherwise, the directions were very easy to follow and took about 1 hour start to finish. It definitely made from very cheap wood but feels pretty sturdy once together and has a good amount of space. For the price, I am happy with the purchase and would probably recommend. ... show more
