Sorely disappointed when I found the arms included in the bike rack were too short to properly fit my bike rack. I have an XS frame and after reading lots of reviewed found others who have xs or small bikes had the same prblm. This solved the prblm. I am annoyed I had to purchase this tho. Personally I think it's too expensive for 2 pieces of metal. The bike rack should've came with different length arms so I didn't have to purchase this separately. Brought the overall cost of bike rack way over what I wanted to spend. Easy to install and bend my hand. Came with way more screws and washers than I needed. ... show more

    • What you need if your Topeak luggage rack is too close to your seat.
I got the Topeak Super Tourist for Disc Brakes rear bike rack with the Topeak MTX basket. I'm on the tall side, and so the seat ends up being pretty far back...so far back that the basket (when installed on the rack) was bumping the seat. Even with the Tourist all the way back on the rails, the basket was too close to the seat. So, I order these longer rails. They work. I can move the Tourist back far enough that the basket is a safe 1-2" from the back of the seat. Unfortunately, the rack now slants downward toward the back of the bike. Not a lot...but it sure would be nice if I could increase the length of the rack's rear axle post so that the seat was (as recommended by Topeak) slanted slightly forward. Still...that's a problem with the rack, not with these extender bars. These bars will get your Topeak rear rack farther back. That's what they're for, and they work. ... show more

This seems to be the solution to get a rack to fit my extra small bike frame, but it didn’t arrive with all its hardware. There was a hole torn in both the plastic bag holding the mounting arms themselves, and one torn through the little resealable baggie that I assume was supposed to be holding all the missing bolts, nuts, and washers. Only a single bolt arrived with the extra long mounting brackets, rolling around in the box. Thankfully I’m pretty sure adequate mounting hardware arrived with the actual rack itself, so I don’t think I’ll need the missing pieces, but if I had this situation would have been aggravating. ... show more

    • Perfect Extenders for Eco Bike Rack!
I bought a Planet Bike Eco Rack and accidentally measured wrong and got the shorter size. Unfortunately they didn't sell the longer size on Amazon and the website didn't have them in stock. Thankfully these worked perfectly and I was able to attach my Eco Rack to my v1 Aventon Pace 500!
