I got this for a Halloween costume, and it worked well for that! I'm 5'9" and it was a lot shorter on me that in the picture. It fell just above the knee on me, and with nylons, it didn't ride up much. Without them I'm sure it would slide up because it's a very slick, slippery fabric. I wouldn't recommend this for a nice event, but it's not bad for the price.
