The fur on one side and Sherpa on other are so soft. In bought white for a gift and looks pretty. I did open from plastic and repackage to make presentable for a college grad gift. 15 lbs is a great weight. The blanket is soft and fuzzy, and helps me sleep much more soundly and fall asleep faster. Prior to the blanket I was literally piling pillows on myself for the added weight, lol. Holds up just fine in the wash!

I really love this blanket. It’s very cozy. It’s just way too heavy for regular use. If I nap under it, I don’t move, which sounds great until you wake up with something pinched because I was pinned. I do love sitting up and having it over my legs during the day though. When I’m in my distance classes online, I’m usually covered with this blanket. So I highly recommend it, as long as you don’t intend to sleep with it. Otherwise, go for a more manageable weight. I thought I would like the weight so that’s my bad, but it’s something I recommend considering! ... show more

I was really skeptical about the weighted blanket theory. But I have slept better with it the past two nights. I am hot natured, so it takes alot of getting used to b/c I am one to throw the blanket off during the night and have my feet out from under the blanket. I love how soft it is and the two sided material type. The only thing I dont like is the color is lighter than on the pictures. I was expecting it to be darker and matching my color scheme more like the photo on amazon. But over all, I like it. Its warm especially for our cold weather. ... show more
