Bottom line, beautiful fixture that is a great value, however the mounting design is poorly done and it makes installation a huge pain requiring at least one trip to the hardware store. This light fixture is beautiful and an excellent value for the money, once it is installed. There are no instructions, but I never use instructions anyways so that’s no big deal. Wiring is easy and self-explanatory, “earth” to ground, neutral to neutral, live to live, too easy. Where this thing gets complicated is in the assembly and actual installation. So each of the big crystals that hang from the bottom have a string of crystals they attach to, and the crystal strings are in bags labeled 1, 2, and 3/4. The long strings are in the bag with 3 and 4 written on it, and strings 3 and 4 are the same length (6 small crystals and you attach the large crystal). These attach to the center finial and the 4 little hooks around the center. Bag 2 attaches to the hooks in the next ring outside of the center, and bag 3 attaches to the outermost ring, so the large crystals hang from shortest to longest from the outside to the inside. Where this light fixture gets especially tricky is if you want it to actually be flush mounted. The screws provided are 2” long, which is much too long for a flush mount and will leave about a 1/2” gap around the entire top of the fixture. A couple trips to Home Depot, and I realized #10-32x1 1/4” fine thread seems to fit the bill. As another reviewer suggested 1 1/2” I tried those, but I’m a perfectionist and the 1/8” gap that leaves was too much (the attached photo shows the small gap with 1 1/2” screws, the 2” screws leave a much larger and much more awkward gap. Where the real pain starts is once you put the mounting bracket up and have to attach the rest of the light fixture. The only attachment to hold the screws in place on the mounting bracket is a small nut on each screw, however once the bracket is in place and you go to attach the chandelier and screw on the end caps, the end caps unscrew the nuts and you’re left with a spinning screw with no hope to tighten it, still leaving a massive gap at the top of the fixture. This problem could have been solved in manufacturing by putting threads inside the holes drilled for the fixture, but the bracket is slotted with no threads despite this bracket only mounting to one hole pattern on the fixture. This resulted in multiple attempts at securing the screws in place after matching them to the hole pattern on the fixture, which inevitably resulted each time in being slightly off as the screw moved in the slot on the mounting bracket while tightening the nut. The only way I was able to get the fixture acceptably tight was to put a dab of locktight on the screw and then tighten the nut over it and let it dry, then attempt to secure and attach the fixture, hoping you don’t loosen the screws while tightening the screw caps. All in all it is a great-looking light fixture that has a poor mounting design that makes installation a pain.

Beautiful light fixture! People made it sound like it was difficult to assemble & install but its actually really easy. There are 29 strands to hang which are all in seperate bags labeled 1, 2, 3 & 4. All the strands are premade you only have to attach the large bottom crystals. (Make sure not to mix up your bags) Start with fixture installation then hang the crystal strands. I started from the center. So, from #4 strand then 3, 2, 1 & there you have it. All done & you've got a beautiful addition to any home.

Wow~I can't believe how beautiful this light is! I'm speechless! Especially comparing it to lights that I've spent 10 times as much for, this is way more beautiful! It was super easy to install, it comes completely assembled except for adding the hanging crystals which were super easy and actually fun. I suggest you put them on after hanging the light. The only thing that threw me off was the extra wire that was connected to both the neutral and the hot wire, I still have no idea what that was for. I just split it and put a couple of cap nuts on it. Other than that, everything is very straightforward. There aren't any directions but you really don't need any. This is the first fixture or otherwise that I've ever purchased that they sent with back up pieces. They send a little bag of extra crystals and connectors for future repairs. Amazing!

Definitely has to be assembled! Not hard to do, but you have to put the big crystals on the hanging crystals that go in the center and thread the metal clasp through a metal loop and pinch it closed. At one point I had to unscrew the base from the ceiling and fix a metal piece that sticks out to hang the crystals on because it wouldn’t easily go through the hole. Definitely time consuming but worth it! Bought a dimming switch, works great! And we love the reflection that it casts onto the ceiling! Love this ceiling fixture!

I bought 2 of these for my new townhouse and have a licensed contractor installing them. He has done this for over 30 years and has said this is the hardest light he has ever worked on. He said the equipment that came with it is not possible to put on a ceiling and he had to go to the hardware store to get something that actually works. I am paying him hourly so his work is costing me more than than the light itself. I am not even having him put up the crystals as he said that would take him 4 hours and the instructions are really bad I don't know if I will be able to do it. Will prolly return product. be ware!

Absolutely gorgeous. Assembly is simple if you read the directions. Simply attach the Crystals in order 1 go in a circle, 2 go in the next circle, 3 & 4. Done!! Make sure you put the crystals on after the electrical connections are complete in the ceiling. Once that is finished just add your crystals. I love it and the price is right!

Half the fun was putting it together. It had a couple of broken pieces when it arrived, but it did come with spares so everything turned out great.
