My son had a daybed we had purchased elsewhere. The insides were particle board, and when they broke within 18 months I submitted a warranty claim. It was going to cost me $99 delivery plus any overages to replace his bed. Instead, I ordered this frame in the 18” height. I was able to install it within the old daybed frame and it is amazing! After debating on which frame to buy I decided to give this one a try. I was looking for something affordable and strong with the head board brackets. Came across this one at a fair price easy to assemble my 16yr son had put it together took about 30 min everything is pretty much simple. Strong, great height plenty of under storage I put my box spring in the frame which I will need to take off because it’s too high I’m only “5”2 and to get in the bed was a struggling and to get off I had to slide down lol.. So you definitely don’t need a box spring for this frame.. ohhh and my head board holes don’t meet With the hold on the frame so I just have the head board propped on the wall. Other than that I have no complaints about it yet.. I’ll write another review in a few month’s to see how well it holds up.. ... show more
