You will not regret this purchase! Stop looking for other chairs and buy these. They are not hard to assemble, but it would be helpful to have two people to assemble the chairs (one person can align the legs and seat, while the other screws them in place). Product unfortunately came with one of the legs broken basically in half. Reached out to Meridians customer service, and with a little bit of info, they promptly sent me a new leg. The chairs are beautiful with decent cushioning. Aligning the holes can be a bit tricky when putting it together as the holes don't all 100% line up, but will eventually screw into place. ... show more

I really LOVE the color it compliments my kitchen very nicely the design of the chairs are very modern and stylish which is why I got them to begin with... the cushions on the chairs are also very comfortable.... my only down fall about these chairs and what I disliked about them was the side rails that across each of the legs of the chairs would stay in place it was very difficult for me to drill the screws in to keep them in tack and they kept falling out so I ended up leaving them off because I did not want to damage or break the actual leg of the chairs by putting to much force into it ... another thing is although you tightened in every screw to keep the chair together, from time to time they start to loosen out and you have to flip the chair upside down again and tighten them up so it’s not wobbly.... I also have kids and they do drop food or spill stuff while eating at the counter but the material and fabric on these chairs are very easy to clean and wipe down besides all of that I love these chairs lol!!! ... show more

I struggled to put the first 2 chairs together but the 3rd was easier and by the 4th I was a pro. It is challenging to get the legs and seat lined up to get bolts in but it was not impossible. I'm sure having an extra set of hands would help. I purchased the black velvet, and these chairs are gorgeous!!! the velvety feel, the deep black color, the feel when you sit on it, fabulous! They are exactly the statement I wanted entering my glam kitchen. I will be looking for the dining chair size next, wish they came with gold accent not just silver. Hubby didn't want me to spend money swapping out my chairs but once he saw these, he was like, ya, they made a big difference. You know they look good when a frugal guy likes them too. ... show more
