I got these to make personalized dog treats! I would say I’m not happy with the little letter holder they provide, it’s hard to slide them in and the little nubs at the end of each letter once you take them off don’t fit in the slider unless you physically cut all of them off. So I individually pressed each letter into my cookies, which took a while. I would prefer for them to also be a little more deep, since my cookies were thick, I had to press down hard and it wasn’t easy to get them out afterwards. It takes a little bit of time to get set up but just tedious, not difficult. I cut them apart while watching tv. Works really great, just as described. Just follow a recipe for cutout sugar cookies, the dough should be cooled in the fridge for 1 hour before rolling out and cutting and then stamp them and then the cut and stamped cookies should cool in the fridge for 1 more hour before baking.     • Good quality letters stamp but takes practice
The letter embosser works well and gives a nice clean imprint, but it takes a bit of practice at first. Removing the letters from their slots can be tricky in the beginning, and when stamping, you have to place the letters in reverse order (mirrored) so they come out correctly.     • A lot of work for a little payoff
The holder for the letters doesn’t hold them. Instead they slide loose. I just punched each letter one by one and it was so tedious. The letters are tiny and you have to cut each one out and then find it. This is nooooot easy to use at all

I could rave all day about these stamps. We used them for salt dough ornament gifts this year for grandparents, aunts and uncles. They are durable, a great size, and fit well next to each other on the tray. They were easy to clean and while we didn't keep them, they would be very easy to re use for future projects. I really liked that they made enough of an indent to where we could paint the letters on some of the ornaments (ornament pictured was left plain). Pretty lousy, the characters all come on plastic rails you have to cut PRECISELY with strong scissors and cannot have any tag on either side. Very time consuming and difficult as they letters are small. Rails they fit in are loose so the characters wobble and you have to be super careful or your words look like you're drunk typing.
