The bike was easy to set up but unfortunately it came with a broken front brake, the process to get a new brake caliper sent to me was kind of frustrating but they sent me a new one and all in all a good purchase

I bought this for my stepson's birthday. He's 6 and quite tall. It seems to fit him well and the quality is decent for a starter bike. Assembly was easy for me with little need to reference the instructions, but then I'm fairly good with mechanical things. The instructions are generic and apply to a range of models from this manufacturer, so they might not be specific enough for some. Tools required were an adjustable wrench, a Phillips screwdriver, and a set of metric Allen wrenches. It requires an H6 for the handlebars and an H5 for the seat. The bike is fairly light for a steel framed model. This means it uses thinner tubing and I have doubts about how much abuse it will take. Given that my stepson is only 6 and somewhat timid when it comes to riding, I don't expect it to be an issue for us. It has rim brakes on both wheels that don't seem to grip especially well. For a light rider and once they're broken in, I expect they'll be fine. There are no quick release adjustments on this bike, but that's not entirely surprising on a bike at this price point. Just keep a set of metric Allen wrenches handy. I also like how the pegs tend to protect the bike from drop damage. Overall, it seems like a great starter bike, but it's not as easy to adjust as some. It also is of lower quality than some, but I don't see that as an issue for its intended use. ... show more

I bought this bike a month ago or so ago for my son for christmas. Since then I have taken it into the bike shop for repairs 3 times. I had it professionally assembled and the issues are unrelated to the assembly. The hand brake totally fell off. the chain broke in half. the spokes of the bike are loose and look like they will come off soon. My son doesn't ride offroad, do trick or anything that could explain this. He rides in the neighborhood on concrete and I have been with him every time. No shenanigans just poor quality. It's past the point of return so hopefully the seller will help fix this. Otherwise, I would say stay far away! Pay the extra 75-100 and get a solid bike. So far it's been a total waste of money and I don't feel it's safe for my son to ride. ... show more

I've been riding bikes for over 30 years and wanted to get a bigger size BMX bike again for myself. I have 2 mountain bikes too. I never rode a 24 inch BMX so I figured I'd give this one a shot since it was cheap. I used to be big into 20 inch BMX bikes so I wanted to get into BMX again. It rides great, quality is pretty decent too. Took it for the first ride today and it was pretty fun to ride. It's a cool cruiser to ride around the neighborhood on. I also have 2 other bikes so this won't be an everyday bike. Overall, this is a bike that was built pretty solid. I'll probably upgrade the tires and leave everything else stock. ... show more
