Ordered this bike for my son, and we were able to get it out of the box and assembled in the driveway in under an hour pretty easily. The instructions do seem to be generic for maybe a couple of different bike models, because they referenced training wheels (which were not included in the 24" model) and instructions for connecting the front brake, which was already installed in the box. The bike packaging took some time to get through, but you could tell precautions were taken to protect the bike from any damage in shipping- and the bike arrived in perfect shape. I appreciate that all necessary tools (besides a knife or scissors to get through the packaging) were included. You just need an air pump to finish off the tires and you are ready to roll! ... show more

Easy to assemble except for the brake. My kid has pretty small hands and it’s really hard for her to reach the brake lever with her fingers. Also, the brake is the absolute cheapest type that I’ve seen. It’s very tight despite my adding extra lube and adjusting it countless times. Another thing I noticed is the rear wheel rim is very slightly warped. This is what I’d consider a budget bike, so I’m not too worried about it, but still.. ehhh. Chain is good quality, pedals are decent, frame seems solid. Handlebars are a little on the wide side for a kids bike. I thought that was a little odd, but my daughter manages ok. All in all a pretty decent bike. I just wish the brake of a little higher quality. I would’ve paid a little more for the option to have a better brake. Also, the seat is really comfy! My daughter had a little gel cover thing that she insisted on putting on, but the seat as it comes is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever seen on a BMX style bike like this. ... show more

This is a very solid bike. I got the 20" version for my 7 year old and it almost fits perfectly. My one complaint is the distance between the seat and the handle bars is quite large. He has to lean a fair amount forward to reach. You can lean the handle bars backwards but it's still a little bit of a stretch. Everything else is great quality. It's quiet when in motion without any rattles. It rides nice and has a soft seat. I'm not a huge fan of the brown tires but the rest of the bike looks great. It only has the one rear brake and the rear gear assembly does not brake when pedaling backwards. It was easy to assemble and packed really well. ... show more

This bike is great, in an age where bikes have gone high tech, between fat bikes and e bikes and everything in between, it is nice to see a standard, regular well-made steel bike, old school yet brand new. Great for the trails or the bike park or just a ride through the park, can do tricks, racing or casual riding with friends. These come in different sizes, the standard 20" wheels you would see ion a BMX bike like these are also very nice and an option here if that is your preference. This is a pretty good kids bike and I can't really find any major faults with it. It's sturdy and well made. It was easy to assemble and really there isn't much to say about it. The only thing is that for the price there are better options. Just be aware that this is a BMW style bike so if you are looking for gears etc this isn't the right option. If the price dropped then I think it's a solid option but for ~$200 it just doesn't pass my preferred value equation. ... show more

So, there is nothing wrong with this bike, so far. It was easy to assemble, admittedly I have worked on bikes a lot. But this required exactly two tools, which are both included. The handle bar mount needs adjusted, but that is simple, and pretty normal. The frame is solid. It includes the axle pegs you want for tricks... but... This bike is about double the price of a similar Huffy bike, which really makes this sting. And having used a ton of bikes in my life, I would not say that there is anything wrong with this bike, but it is also just... eh. Also, the seat is weirdly small, I will have to change that out. ... show more
