We have two dogs at home - one golden retriever and one lab/cattle dog mix. They both love to chew apart every toy that we bring home… but this one has been indestructible so far and they love to play tug-a-war with it. Highly recommend for those who need tougher toys for their big dogs!

The dog loves this, he ripped one ring half way through in about 15 minutes but had not been able to get it to completely rip since, he lives the toy, I'm afraid he's going to get a price of of it and choke, I will be returning the item but I think for most dogs this would last forever, hes part Staffordshire terrier and had a really strong bite, he lives playing tug of war with it, maybe I just got one with a defect because he had been unable to destroy it any further. ... show more

They chewed the rope right away it took them about 5 minutes and they tried to swallow the pieces that they chew up so I had too remove the rope completely

We got this for our labs to have a toy thinking they would last a bit. Ummmm it lasted a total of 1 hour with our yellow lab. It would definitely last with a smaller dog, but probably not a large dog. It is however a heavy duty toy, just not for a yellow lab.
