What am amazing VC. I dont know if I over paid, but I have trusted NVIDIA products for more than 15 years and I have never been disappointed. I replaced my GF970 with this one. I was running COD from mid-high video configuration with my current system: i7-4790 16GB DDR3 500gb SSD. Believe me, you dont need to get more ram, a faster CPU... get this video card. I am running COD almost to the highest resolution / configuration and it rocks. I am preparing my PC for the MS Flight Simulator 2020, and I sure that it will run very nice (added another 1TB ssd for accommodating the FS). Check that you have at 650wts of power source and enough space inside your case, because this thing is huge. The easiest configuration ever... and take advantage of the 12 month Amazon financing (otherwise I would not be able to pay for this). ... show more

Still going strong for after half a decade this card beats a lot of 30 series. If you're not ready for a 40 or 50 series, ignore the 30 and just get this beast.

    • if you can afford it, get it... be ready for Ray tracing etc.. if you enjoy art you need this.
these guys are making some amazing works that can only truly be appreaciated with this card and those of its quality. I have always loved good computer graphics, but to be able to push all the settings to the max -as intended, makes everything new again.. and the future needs this kind of technology to be able to participate in our lives.. lol lots of excellent computer graphics artists out there, that really make entertainment at home the priority go to must do lol I put it all on three screens .. including a 1080p projector!!! so now I have life sized art.. pretty difficult not just to marvel at it.. ... show more

Noise.? I don’t care.... but its not.! So, I bought this because Amazon had sent me a different GPU on my last purchase (XT5700).... but man, this thing is glorious.! Smooth as _____ great choice. Expensive.? Yeah.... but well, its great quality.! 100% recommend

The 2080 Super is a great card, don't get me wrong, but I bought a 2070 for my son, and the difference for 2K gaming isn't really worth the price difference. You will see about 10 frames difference, and when you're running over 100+ frames to begin with, that difference isn't worth the extra money. Possibly if you think you're a pro-eSport player, but even then, doubtful. At 1080p gaming the 2070 and 2080 are pretty close, definitely not worth the extra money. ... show more

Bought the 2080 super as a flex when I build this about a year ago, and I’m still in love with it. I game, stream, record, all on max settings on a 3400x1440 ultra wide at 144 FPS and it refuses to overheat (knock on wood). Definitely makes me glad I bought before the scalping became such a problem. If I remember correctly I bought the card new for just under $1,000. I’m a firm believer that if you regularly clean and maintain your pc, this thing will run anything you throw at it. ... show more
