We started using this yesterday, so this isn't a long term durability review. But almost immediately my little shy cat loved this and followed it around to watch it and occasionally paw at it. I just wanted something to hold their interest other than asking for food or begging me for attention. They're fairly low energy senior cats but I don't want them to be bored either. This toy is so perfect, just sort of casually scoots around the house. My only concern is that in unattended mode if my cats make a mess it might track it a bit, sort of like unattended Roombas can. But it doesn't go very far each cycle and seems most likely to just end up caught in a corner somewhere by the end of the day, so I don't think this is going to be too much of an issue. I'll just need to find and charge it regularly. There's something about the design that is quiet and gentle enough to not scare the cats, which is what I was worried about. (The viral flappy fish toy was too aggressive for my two so that's saying something.) There aren't many toys that entertain the cats without my energy, time and attention and this does that. Very easy to use, and lasts long after charging. My cat likes to hunt flies, birds, etc. But my cat is super intimidated by this product. But it still entertains her cause she’ll just sit and watch it roam around.

I recently decided to try out this toy for my indoor feline companion, and I must say, it's been quite the hit in our household. The toy's robotic features allow it to entertain my cat even when I'm not around, which is incredibly convenient for my busy schedule. The various accessories included provide endless entertainment options, from feathers to plush chicks, keeping my cat engaged and stimulated throughout the day. Plus, the toy's ability to run irregularly ensures my cat gets the exercise she needs to stay happy and healthy. However, while my cat absolutely adores it, I've noticed a couple of drawbacks. Firstly, the durability of the materials leaves something to be desired. After a few weeks of regular use, I've already noticed some wear and tear, particularly on the feathers and plush attachments. Additionally, the battery life could be improved; while it claims to last 8 hours under default mode, I've found that it tends to run out sooner than expected, requiring frequent recharging.     • Too fast for my adult cats. Still a fun toy.

I originally bought this for my kitten who has to be stimulated constantly or she'll overthrow the government of a small island nation. She was interested in it at first but lost interest once my adult cats got truly scared by it and she TOO decided it was a theat that must be avoided. Pros: It's a fun little product and it's USB-C rechargeable which is super convenient these days. It has a weird little IR blaster on it like a TV remote so and is pretty good at getting itself unstuck so I'm assuming it truly has a rudimentary obstacle avoidance feature which some of the more expensive cat toys claim to have but usually don't. Props to these guys 👌🏻 Cons: It's a little TOO FAST on its slowest setting. Sometimes it bangs into my cats legs and they are not happy about it. Battery life is a little short and the wheels joints get clogged almost immediately with hair ( I have a big fluffy cat YMMV.) It's $12 so ultimately not the worst $12 I ever spent and for the price to feature comparison it puts some of those $20-$40 toys to shame. I'm gonna keep it and see if I can't tweak it to make it run a little slower and maybe add a little bell to it. P.S. make a tail with a bell in it so I don't have to do stuff like that. ... show more

Ordered this for my cat because he seemed to be getting bored with his day to day and he loves it, but good lord it is annoying. Im not exaggerating when I say that turning this toy on makes me want to scream. I thought I read somewhere that it had some sensory capability so it wouldn't run into things, but it seems to always find its way to the most loud objects in the apartment and run into them/twirl around on them. It's like no matter where I put it to start, it always ends back up in the most annoying places. The thing will literally run into the wall and just continually bump into it without changing course. Worst thing is when it runs into a trash can and bangs it over and over. The best feature is the fact that it runs for 10 mins then stops, so I know the noise won't last too long. The problem is it seems like once you forget about it that's when it starts back up lmao. Also a very sturdy product. I read some reviews saying their cats tore them up but other than a few feathers coming off of one tail I haven't had any issues. I've even kicked the toy clear across the room and it just goes back to spinning and rolling around. It's not particularly fast so it's not like my cat is getting some intense play, but it does keep him interested/intrigued and he hops up and follows it around whenever it starts up. I gave it five stars because it does everything it's supposed to and I've had no issues with it performance-wise, so I wrote this as just something to think about! Like I said, my cat loves it so I use it regularly anyways because I love him... but I seriously dread turning this thing on. The things we do for love smh ... show more
