    • Good rechargeable laser pointer
This is a decent laser pointer to use with your pets. First off, I have to say that I have misgivings about playing with a laser with my cats. I just think mine is crazy enough and lasers might make them neurotic, plus I worry about damage to their little eyes. So please keep in mind that your mileage may vary. Despite this, it’s a good laser pointer. It’s very handy to have something with a red dot and a little flashlight. Best of all, you just pop off the cap and charge it up by plugging it in—no wires needed. The battery is fine. It’s always charged and ready when you are. Plus, the on/off is a toggle switch, so you don’t need to give yourself carpal tunnel holding a little button down. That is a big selling point, for me. Very, very nice. So my cat does enjoy it and I try to play responsibly. As an aside, I recently ordered eyeglasses and they came with what appears to be a blue-dot laser pointer so that you can see how well your new glasses filter out blue light. It turns out, very well because you can barely see the light as long as you’re wearing them. And I know it’s not great for anyone’s eyes, but my cats absolutely love that particular color of laser light. There’s something about the blue/purple that just calls to them. It might be irresponsible, but I would like to see an updated product that also has a blue (or whatever type of diode Zenni uses) light added as an option. Good laser pointer, though. I love this little thing! Love how easy it is to charge! Love all the laser options and my 12 year old calico goes nuts for them! She’s hilarious to watch. She’s getting a lot of exercise! The thing I was NOT expecting to love is the flashlight. It’s awesome. I love how it’s a perfect circle, like a spotlight. I use it a surprising amount!     • Best Anti-Cat Self Defense Device
A cat as entered the house and it keeps rubbing itself on me in a taunting manner, it knows full well that I can't remove it because others in the house will protest. It vibrates and squeals, I think the cat will explode on me. I purchased this product in order to distract the cat so I may rest in my bed undisturbed. The laser pointer is a staple for cat owners. After buying a few of the lasers that require batteries at the grocery store, I came across this and couldn't be happier to not have to deal with batteries. The replacement batteries cost about as much as anew laser. This is sturdy and recharges quickly with a usb. It is a bit larger than the others, which makes it sturdier and easier to keep track of, and has a few additional options that you don't get with others.
