Y'all! I can't even believe the quality of this amazing Tommy Hilfiger jacket. It is lightweight (relative to what it's doing for you), extra water resistant and extremely warm. I was able to test it last night with 26* temperatures with 65% humidity (felt like 15*), I was only wearing 2 base layers underneath, a t-shirt and a long-sleeve merino, and I didn't feel the cold at all. I mean, At. All. There's a fantastic velvety fleece lining in the front hand pockets, so you won't require gloves, though in sub-freezing temps they sure don't hurt. I'm 5'10", 175 lbs. and the M fit me absolutely perfectly. There's ample room for layering as needed, I probably won't ever have need to layer with this thing unless we have a Day After Tomorrow type of scenario unfold... :) This thing is warm as hell. Comparable to your most robust down jacket. This is probably better! lol - as the insulation here is synthetic and won't lose insulating properties when wet. I live in Northern Nevada the coldest we get around here is usually about at 0* Fahrenheit, sometimes it dips below that but that's pretty rare, if it went that cold you might want to wear a hoodie under it. lol It's REALLY warm. Northeastern folks will argue it's not warm enough I'm sure, for them, add an insulating mid-layer and you'll be comfortable into those sub-zero wind chills. :) It's comfortable as can be when stationary, I could see it becoming too warm during intense activity, you'll want to take that into consideration when choosing your outerwear. For me, this is going to be my only choice for outdoor cold weather stationary activities- kids sporting events, target shooting/glassing, slow walks around the neighborhood. I'm going to wear a more breathable jacket if I'm going snowboarding or for a winter jog- this would be too cumbersome. Those few sweat related detractions don't deter me from saying this is my new favorite winter coat. I can't believe the bargain to be had on these if you can catch them on a lightning deal. Honestly, this is probably my favorite winter coat I have ever purchased. The quality of big zippers, the quality in stitching, the awesome placement of TH logos, the clean switch from leather to polyester material, the overall FIT of the coat (even when layering with a hoodie underneath), the hoods size & hood-bungees to keep the hood snug if needed, the tucked wrist to ensure no wind can enter through the sleeves, the inside hidden pocket size, the perfect exterior pockets depth, the neck/collar suede material to ensure your neck stays warm when fully zipped & the WARMTH of this coat.... my goodness ALL OF IT is top-tier! Tommy nailed this one and it gets an A++ all across the board for me. When you get the coat, be sure to check that price tag that comes attached ($200)... yes, this is a $150-200 coat that you are getting for a STEAL of a price via Amazon. I now own THREE different colors/patterns of this exact coat! Because I could not just have 1... or 2.... I needed a third as well just to keep a rotation and have the multitude of style and color options on deck in the winter wardrobe. The Brown/Tan leather is exactly as shown in this picture. If you like the switch from materials and the different texture it adds to the coat visually Then I highly suggest checking out the Black Lether version as well (which I also own). The upper body (chest/back) location where they decided to put the leather on this coat is perfect placement. It certainly adds an extra layer of warmth, and it gives those windy days a little more layering to have to cut through. Here in Baltimore, Maryland it has been probably one of the coldest winters we have had in years. The other morning it was 9degrees! And with wind chill it was "supposed" to feel like in the negatives. I attentionally put "SUPPOSED TO FEEL LIKE" in my last statement, because this coat thankfully kept me feeling warm and sure as hell not shivering in the negative degree weather. I've been a Hilfiger fanboy for a long time. And I can say without a doubt, these Coats are some of my favorite TH pieces I own to date. A++ quality for one hell of a bargain. ... show more

Bought it for my son as their holiday present, and it’s exactly what we expected out of this brand, its design and its quality. It fits well, and it keeps them warm. After using it daily during the frigid MN winter months, it still looks like new, and it has served them well.
