This is a vine review meaning the product was provided to be reviewed. This product is a set of tools in a polymer case with a carrying handle and two latches. The product is packaged with a plain cardboard box not suitable for gifting. Once removed from the cardboard box, an illustrated sleeve is around the tool case making it suitable for gifting with a bow or wrapped. See attached picture of case with illustrated sleeve. Although I have every tool under the sun (almost), I ordered this product for my son who is a junior in high school. This product includes: 1. Two large and two small flat screwdrivers and a flat stubby screwdriver. 2. Two large and three small Phillips screwdrivers and a Phillips stubby screwdriver. 3. A large adjustable wrench 4. A medium pair of needle nose pliers 5. Electrical pliers 6. Ratchet wrench with 12 metric sockets and three adapters. 7. Screwdriver-type ratchet holder 8. Claw hammer 9. Set of nine Allen wrenches in a folding plastic holder (see attached close-up photograph of Allen wrenches) 10. Torpedo level 11. 10’ metal measuring tape 12. Set of 44 screwdriver bits including Torx and bits for security fasteners 13. Continuity checker The case is sturdy and the two clasps are effective in keeping it closed. It is well designed and is able to keep the tools in place regardless of whether the case is right side up, upside down, or inverted. In fact, opening up the case for the first time after it was shipped to the house, only one socket was out of place. I consider this superior engineering of a tool case. In fact, it is in stark contrast to my Craftsman ratchet set, where sockets are everywhere except where they should be every time I open it. See attached two close-up photographs of tools in case. Few products are perfect and this product has two deficiencies: 1. No crescent wrench. The socket set is meant to eliminate the need for a crescent wrench, but in my experience a crescent wrench is a must-have for every toolbox. 2. The continuity detector has no ground wire, only a bare metal tip at the end of the handle. I do not think this is a safe arrangement—I would never use it to check continuity above 18 V. See attached close-up photo of continuity detector. Despite these two shortcomings, this is still a great tool set with a well thought complement of tools for most situations. It is a solid foundation to build on. I am glad I ordered it for my son and I recommend it.

I've always had various assorted cheap screwdrivers, hammers, drill bits, and wrenches, scattered around the house in drawers, shelves, and utility bins. But I always want and need more tools. I was getting small cheap tool sets locally when they were on sale but then I never had complete sets of anything with all the different sizes. This kit looks good and has a lot of different tools. What I didn't have that's in this set is a voltage tester, a level, and more sizes of wrenches and bits. I usually only do small repairs because often I don't have the necessary size tools. I'll be able to do more repairs now with this kit. The quality here is good and the array of tools is surprising for the price. The case is nice. Tools are secure in the case, each in its own slot and items don't rattle around or come loose. This looks like an excellent selection of tools for smaller home repairs that are good quality at a good price. Everything is organized in the case which is a huge plus! Very glad I got this!

This order came with a set of metal rolls and a case to carry them. So, I’m only giving this item four stars because, when it arrived, a lot of the tools were rolling loose around the tool box. The issue, at that point, was that I was trying to figure out where everything went. The case itself has no indicators of where tools are meant to go, other than vaguely-shaped spaces. Aside from that issue, I have no complaints. The moment the box arrived, I used some of the tools to work on my bike. These are all heavy-duty tools. They’re strong, firm, and the variety of them is great. This kit has everything from wrenches, screwdrivers, measuring tape, leveler, hammer, and multiple bits and connectors. You’ll never have to buy anything else except this set. Maybe an electric screwdriver? Who knows. But I love this kit. I absolutely recommend this set.

This is a great set of good quality tools. I have lots of tools, but I have the bad tendency of not putting them back where they belong, making it challenging to find what I need when I need it. Anyway... this has become my go to tool set, with lots of different wrenches, pliers, bits, etc. for many different projects. I'm always needing a screwdriver for this and a wrench for that, and have used this set a lot. This set would make a great gift, as a starter set for someone, or to leave in the car or house for quick access.

I ordered this Tolsen Tool Kit for my office (white collar office, not in a tool based business), where I keep forgetting to bring in tools from home to solve small problems. I literally come in, see one of the problem, kick myself mentally for forgetting and then remembering the half dozen other items that have been back burnered whil I try to remember to bring my tools to my office. Finally, I decided I'd order one of the combined toolsets to come and stay in the office and there it is. The selection here is nice, everything from screwdrivers to wrenches to lugs, hammers, level and scissors. Most everything you need to do those simple jobs. I ordered them and yesterday hung a half dozen pictures and replaced three blinds. I tightened up the screws on my door jam and my book shelf and took off a drawer slide to clean and replace it. The tool set worked well and when done, everything fit neatly back into its space in the case. All in all, a solid win. If you are looking for a combo tool set, I recommend this one highly!
