  • When they say sturdy and durable? They were telling the truth. Buy this now like everyone else.
Color: Black
I was skeptical about the $30 dollar price tag with a $5 dollar coupon to $25 bucks as you get what you pay for but the reviews and amount of microphone arms purchased this month told me to trust it. Besides, it's Amazon. Just return it. Buy this. You won't be disappointed. This came out of the box ready to go. Nothing feels cheap and it's strong materials. The included cable routing clips are simple but super useful. It's the little things. Right? It pivots and bends in all the right angles for your desk. The included hex wrench can be used to tighten each joint to help keep up heavy stuff or keep one joint more stiff than the others. I'm using it with my old Blue Yeti mic (2014) and it fit perfectly after removing the included adapter screw. The Blue Yeti shock mount was a little heavy with the mic due to the offset weight making it unbalanced but Im certain I can tighten the joints to use it with the shock mount. No biggie if it doesn't. I stunt think this was designed with those in mind. ... show more

  • Well made, sturdy construction, stays put....just wish it had a ball-head mount.
Color: Black
The arm comes assembled, so you just have to attach the C-Clamp bracket to the arm (which takes seconds). Works very well attached to my desk. Once tightened / adjusted (with the included Allen key), the arm / joints stay in place, resisting the gravity place on the microphone. The ONLY thing I think that would make it better, is if the Mic Mount rotated 360 degrees (from the plane of the mount), either via a ball-head mount, or pan-tilt mount. As it stands now, the Mic can rotate in a 180 degree arc on its end of the mounting bracket, and the other end of the mounting bracket end that is attached to the last segment of the stand, can rotate in a 180 degree arc....but perpendicular to the Mic's rotation. If you're having trouble visualizing this, here's a good visual. Think of a clock face. Think of the bottom of the MIc, attached to the center of the clockface. Now, imagine the end of the Mic you speak into, coming out of the clockface, towards you. Now, push the top of the Mic left, so that it touches 9 o'clock. Now, lift the top of the Mic, up and over the center of the clock where it's mounted to, and down to touch 3 o'clock. So, you have 180 degree rotation, in that LINEAR arc. Now, bring the top of the Mic back up to top dead center, where it is directly above the center of the clock. Now, tilt the top of the Mic down to touch 6 o'clock. Now, lift the top of the Mic up and over the center of the clock, and towards 12 o'clock. So, you have a 180 degree range of motion in that LINEAR arc. But, the Mic can only move from 9-to-3, or 6-to-12....so, you're missing being able to have the Mic at the 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 positions...so, very limited range of motion, in that sense. Not a deal breaker, as most people "set-it-and-forget-it," but for some of us who move the Mic arm away, around, etc., it'd be nice to have as much range of motion for the Mic as possible. With a ball-head mount, commonly found on Tripods, you'd be able to have pretty much a FULL range of motion to be able to get the Mic into ANY position that you needed it. ... show more

  • Works great with yeti
Color: Black
This mic arm is a fantastic find. I use it to hold my large, heavy Blue Yeti microphone, which is right at the arm's max weight limit, and it handles it perfectly—no sagging or drift. The best feature is its versatility: I currently use it upside down so it can swing neatly under my monitors when not in use. Excellent strength, great flexibility, and a huge value. ... show more

  • Does not hold a Shure SM7B well, despite the photos
Color: Black
The pictures in this product’s gallery show it holding what appears to be an industry standard broadcast mic (popular for podcasts, too), the Shure SM7B. Seeing that in the photos, I felt confident buying this arm for my voiceover studio. That confidence was quickly shattered when I got the arm. It is flimsy, lightweight, and not really up to the task of holding a Shure SM7B like the photos indicate. I attached mine, and it immediately started sinking and drooping. I used the included hex wrench to tighten the snot out of the nuts at each of the sections…but then the arm is locked into place and can’t be easily adjusted without using a tool. If you’re not likely to move your mic around and just need it to sit in the same spot all the time, this might be a good low cost option for you. For me? I’m returning it and getting something a little more substantial that can handle a real mic and being moved around and adjusted on the fly (without tools necessary). ... show more

  • Buy it
Color: Black
If you're on the fence about this one, just get it. Make sure you have an Allen wrench key on hand, but this thing is sturdy as heck. It holds my Blue Yeti up with no problem. There is a little bit of movement, but nothing worth complaining about. This is honestly a really good stand, and it's better than the two- or three-point pivot systems. ... show more

  • Like it, it works well
Color: Black
I do like it this mic stand. It is engineered well. It has good reach and can he contorted to a lot of different positions. I have it mount to the left of my desk chair on the front edge of my office desk. I have all the screws tightened on the arm with the given allen wrench except for the bottom screw. I first put the mic on the position I wanted permanently, then tightened each arm screw snug so it cannot adjust or move. I simply pivot the mic stand to the position I want. It stays put in place and has not sagged. When not in use I pivot it out of the way so I can use my desk. I do have no idea if I would like it if I had to adjust it constantly. However, I would buy again and I recommend it. Update: 12/12/2025 It continues to be a great purchase. It continues to be all that I said before. It has been one of my favorite purchases of 2025! ... show more
