I liked Todd's approach to pizza, his directions are very clear. Todd also gives directions and recipes for different components, ie different tomato sauces or roasted eggplant. When it came to coming up with new combinations for toppings, it is safe to say that he wasn't thinking out of the box, there was no box! I liked his white clam pizza, then tried his chicken chili pizza that was great too. He did a great job for really neat combinations for toppings. His dough recipes worked very well too. Will I still once in a while go back to my hot Italian sausage and pepper pizza, yes, but I will be trying more of his combinations. This is my 76 th pizza book and it’s very hard to rate. It’s not my kind of book ,even though other people might like it. It is filled with dozens of recipes for toppings and very little about the science of making a good pizza.
