I have a awning on my porch and when the wind blows it's like a parachute lifting the framing up and down. I bought these and anchored them in between the flooring. I then used cordage and tied down the very ends of both sides of the awning. It keeps the frame tight and no movement.

The media could not be loaded. Worked for exactly what we needed. Used for a pool cover and we used them through the deck around the pool. They seem to hold well without moving.
