  • High quality and excellent cutting
Items very sharp and good cut

  • Extremely Sharp, clean cuts, and style.
Very clean cut even on dead wood. Fits in extra large hand. Similar to other Japanese pruners but love the look of the polished blade. Only downside is that there are no rubber bumpers to help with repetitive cutting fatigue.

  • Great Tool
You can't go wrong with Japanese tools. I had one I bought several years ago which fell out of the holster and I couldn't find it. I panicked because I used it almost every day. Luckily, I did find it after I ordered this pruner. I also have a smaller Tobisho which I've had for over 30 years. It still cuts beautifully and has never been sharpened. These tools are expensive, but the fact that they last for years makes them worth the price. ... show more

  • The BEST ever!
These pruning shears are a work of art! They are by far the best ones I have ever used. I have already purchased three. One for myself and two to give as gifts!

  • Nice craftsmanship
Nice craftsmanship in the Pruning shears. The cutting edge is honed to a mirror finish so it's very sharp. I'm sure they will last for decades.

  • Simple and exquisite tool!
I purchased my first pair of Tobisho pruners from another online retailer about 6 years ago. Having been a professional horticulturist for years, I was always fond of the Japanese high carbon steel and forged design. For me, they simply work better and have far less hand fatigue than the Felco variety pruners. Not to mention a better cut. Always keep them cleaned and oiled. That means the entire pruner. Also, make sure you treat the blade and anvil with care, so no cutting metal which can damage the blade edge. If you follow these simple, and quite frankly easy, instructions, these pruners will last you decades. Bottom line, if you are a professional or avid landscape or nurseryman, it's a great investment that will demonstrate to your customers that you take your career seriously. ... show more

  • Incredibly sharp and fit perfect in my hand
When I first used these I thought wow these are nice. And the more I have used them the more I am so happy I splurged and bought them. If you’re a gardener and you’re looking for something to make your job a little easier, these are definitely worth it.
