This feels like it should cost more than I paid for it. The battery compartment panel is held on by a magnet, it's very cool. The pairing process is very simple, especially on Windows 11. However, it also works fine on Ubuntu. The mouse also responds very well even on fabric or smooth surfaces. No mouse pad required. It also glides very well thanks to the smooth rounded 'bump' along the outside bottom of the mouse. I recommend this mouse for travel and / or any time you need to be portable. I wouldn't recommend the mouse for just sitting at your desk at home IF you have large hands. My hands are fairly large, and they don't fit the mouse very well. Therefore, it's good for travel, but I use a different mouse when I'm at home. Overall, beautiful device that performs very well. ... show more

Purchased this mouse since it comes in the same color (glacier) as my Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard. Looks great and very happy with how easily it pairs with my computer. After initially setting it up I have not had to mess with Bluetooth settings at all. I actually have one in my workspace at home and one in the office and both are working fantastic! I do miss the gestures on my Apple Magic Mouse, but I am perfectly happy with how well this mouse functions! ... show more

Bought this to pair up with my Surface Pro 7. I was sick of having a dongle hanging out of my USB port hogging it up. The Bluetooth works great! Instantly recognized and comes out of sleep very quickly. Scroll wheel and left/right click are very satisfying. The movement tracking is great. It is also the perfect size to throw in a bag. My only complaint is that if you use it to play games the shape can hurt your hand. I use a claw grip and because it is so slim, I have to grip it tightly with my little finger. After about 30 minutes it starts to hurt my hand, particularly where my little finger is gripping it. Haven't ran the batteries down to nothing yet, but it uses a pair of AAAs, so just carry a pair of extras in your bag and you'll be good to go. ... show more

I also have an Arc mouse, and at first - I thought this one was a little cheap feeling and light in comparison. But then, wow - the click feel on this mouse is just special ..hard to describe, but hypnotic! The perfect travel companion, go for it.

Buttons are too stiff, meaning the click resistance require extra force to press compared to other normal mice. Fingers have to be right at the tip of the mouse to register the click easily, otherwise it can be tiresome after extensive usage. Not ideal for claw grip style. Pros: - Compact and very sturdy built - Instant Bluetooth connectivity - Long battery life Cons: - Oppsite of an egernomic mouse - Sharp edges can be incomfortable for extended use - Left and right buttons resistance are too great unless fingers are rested at the very tip of the mouse. ... show more

First off let me say that ergonomically this is one of the most attractive mice I have ever held. I imagined myself holding it all day long. It's that wonderful. But let me tell you the sad story of what happened. After using it for about one day I realized it was just slightly louder in the click, than my old mouse. Then I realized that you could buy silent mice and in fact I went ahead and bought one called the Jane Eyre mouse. (Cute) And this second mouse is virtually silent even when you click. So I decided to take apart the Microsoft mouse to see if I could remove the click and I almost did it... But since I'm a perfectionist it wasn't quite perfect so I took it apart again and that time the little metal slab that's used to create the impression of a down press... Well I accidentally deformed it and now the button doesn't give you the sense of clicking when you click it. It still works it just doesn't feel like it's been clicked. And I guess that's the trick with these silent mice is you've got to feel like you've clicked it but you don't want to hear it. I was tempted to just return the mouse because I figured nobody would notice but then I decided that was also highly unethical because technically it was broken. So I retired that mouse after just a few days and it's just sitting in my technology box. The Jane Eyre mouse is my go-to mouse and I would highly recommend that to anyone. I plan to use that mouse for the rest of my life. ... show more
