    • Bagel setting doesn’t work…
I just received this yesterday and couldn’t wait to toast a bagel today. Man was i disappointed. The toaster looks average size, but it is way small. The bagel had to be put in very carefully to fit in width wise but it still stuck out 2” so in order to toast the entire bagel I had to turn it. Also, the biggest issue with this is the actual bagel setting. A bagel setting when you push that button turns the inner heating elements off while the other elements toast the cut sides of the bagel and only warm the outside. There is another review that said she had to cut her bread in half for it to fit in the toaster slots. There is definitely enough room for this to function properly and fit a whole slice of bread and a bakery sized bagel. This toaster looks great and I am going g to keep it until I can afford the one i actually want. I wish the bagel setting worked. I do not recommend this toaster. Spend a little extra and get one that fits a whole slice of bread and can toast a bagel like it should. Not worth it ... show more

My Sunbeam toaster quit after 30 years. Since that time i have gone through a lot of toasters, trying to find a good one. i I always try to stick with a brand i know, but this time i was willing to try a different brand. When i saw the reviews on this one they sounded good and thought to give it a try. i was impressed, it was beautiful. white, classy with a design on the outside. Now, to see if it works. My first try it was quiet, in fact, I barely hear it pop up and both side are beautifully toasted. We use it each morning and it is the same, evenly toasted I have not had to make daily adjustments to get the toast brown...I have had it about a month and am so happy with this purchase. My Dil came in and immediately said, What a beautiful toaster! Thank you for making something that works for a change and looks great! ... show more

Does what it is supposed to do. A little small from front to back. My bread slice is longer than the opening on the toaster. I have to cut my slices in half with a pair of scissors to make them fit. But I like it anyway.

Get a stainless steel or other metallic sided toaster instead. This toaster has plastic sides that heats up when you turn the toaster on and releases a plasticky burnt smell.
