Bought this when our last popcorn maker died because it had the same specs as the last one for quantity. I have loved spin poppers for over a decade and all the ways you can make different kinds of popcorn in them. Definitely clean it well and run it to hot and clean again before making your first batch to get any coating off. After that, it makes great popcorn. I absolutely love that all of it can be washed because it comes away from the heating element - that's huge and not something my poppers have had until now and, I have to say, I am not sure I can go without it now! I have made about a dozen batches of popcorn, my family's favorite snack, and they are consistently popped. I have only had it for a couple months so time will tell if it lasts. Will update the review if it breaks or has issues.

The reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it does burn the popcorn very easily. I turn if off when the popcorn is to the top of the container, even if it's still popping, and I always have some scorched popcorn. It doesn't bother me, but it might some people. It's super easy to clean which is great however the removable pan does seem to me easily breakable if used roughly.

It does pop Popcorn! But it's very easy to burn the popcorn. You need to really watch what you're doing. Also the small black cover that fits on the bowl warps and will not stay on the bowl when you flip it over. I do not leave the black cover on during the popping.

Love this thing. Easy to use. Easy to lift cooking bowl and use as the popcorn container to eat from. Easy to melt butter in the top. Takes 3-4 minutes to finish popping the corn.
