1. Take control of your lighting and change to any color you like. 2. Set the mood with more than 30 lighting scene modes. 3. DIY your lighting with "Tuya smart" APP and then share with friends. · Download app from the App Store(IOS) or Google Play Store(Android) · Turn on the phone's WiFi function and ensure the network is on, make sure the smartphone is successfully connected to your WiFi (only 2.4GHz WiFi is supported), you can also turn on the bluetooth in your phone (this will speed up the connection process). · Connect led strip lights , turn it on and then turn off , repeat the operation three times until the led lights go into flashing mode. · Entering the app will automatically pop up a connection window, click "Add", click the "+" sign, enter the WiFi account and password, and click “OK”. Well this is one of those purchases that I bought more than I needed in length. Way more! But it’s ok. I ended up doing the ceiling with the excess haha. They work great. Adhesive could be better. I had to go back and use extra adhesive to hold it on but mostly in all the corners and were I put it on the textured wall. Just like all strip lights do not bend hard in corners or it will change the color of the lights from that point forward. I was able to fix this by gently loosening how tight my corners were and the lights went back to normal. Overall for this price I am happy with my purchase. ... show more

    • Things You Might Be Wondering About...

I just bought these and I will let you guys know somethings that are not really explained well on the product details, descriptions and reviews. They do not come with any extra connectors, if you accidently mess the strip up ( my wife accidently clipped the blue circuit while sticking the lights to a sharp corner with her finger nail...) you will need to repair that strip with some of the 10mm connectors you can find for 3-6$ on here, we ordered a pack right after lol. The product I have is the 100ft kit (2 rolls of 50) and if you are wondering, I would not advise running both strips off of only 1 plug on the controller box. The lights her dimmer the farther they go with just 1 50ft strip, so I'd say it wont last the other 50 ft. With that being said you will need to use both plugs, one for each strip, then run both strips from the controller going opposite ways. Be sure to measure everything with a tape measurer and don't forget the extra length needed to go up the wall from the power outlet. They stick really well, but not so good when trying to get it back onto the backing paper if you peel it off too far. The remote that comes with it has a delay, is annoying and sometimes does it own thing...at least for me. When I downloaded the Tuya Smart App I was prepared to do all the 'plugging and unplugging the light strip at the socket 3 or 4 times' to get it to sync, but if you just hold the On (power) button located on the remote it came with for 5-10 seconds the lights will go red then start flashing, at that point the light strip showed up on the Tuya Smart App and I was rocking and rolling. I preformed a corner folding technique to get my lights around the corners without using L connecters, look it up on google 'Folding LED light Strips' make sure you do it at the 'cut here' places, they are the 4 horizontal copper lines. It worked out well, could have been better, but apparently I'm only one that will ever notice it...but that's all that counts right hah. I haven't connected it to Alexa yet because I'm hesitant about logging into Amazon through it (call me paranoid). I will update pictures in a bit, because I have a 6 year old and if I don't at least write this right now I will never be able to answer these questions for other buyers =P Merry Christmas! ... show more

Lights work very well, nice and vibrant however they do dim out a little bit the more further away from the power source that it gets. Very good stick over all for most of the wall however lights don't stay on all parts of the wall. Absolutely garbage product. Exactly 10 minutes after the lights were plugged in, the small electric white box that connected the light lines became super hot, almost burning to the touch and the light went out. Took it all off and put the whole thing into the garbage

🚨 UPDATE After 13 months with no issues. These lights all of a sudden started to glitch. They turn on and off randomly (all hours of day and night). They blink out when my daughter has turned them on (like it dims then brightens) this actually started about a week ago and my daughter called me to see if I was seeing it as well or was it her imagination. I saw the dimming going on. Unplug everything and let it reset. The dimming and brightening still occurred. I told my daughter to not use them as much and only use once in a while. Then a few days ago they started turning on and off by themselves. We have only ever used the remote for control. The first few times it happened they were bright red and blinking, my daughter panicked because it wouldn't turn off. I again unplugged the lights. Since then it's been and an ongoing problem. So bye bye lights. They are scaring the crap out of my daughter!! I'm leaving my original post of my review because both are honest reviews this just happens to be a year later. I mean for the price they were great while they lasted. But probably going to have to repaint my daughters room after I get these off the wall. I haven't removed them yet because when I started to remove them the paint from the wall came off instantly, so I only went about 2-3 inches and didn't want to cause further damage. They have just been uplugged for now. 🚨 Original review -Absolutely perfect!! I was actually surprised by these. I was expecting cheap quality, I couldn't have been more wrong. I purchased these for my daughter and she loves them. They were very easy to apply, the adhesive is wonderful it sticks really well. I wouldn't put them up unless you're 100% sure you want them in that spot on the wall, that adhesive is very strong and it will chip the paint. I love that I didn't have to cut to get them to fit in corners, they bend well. The length fits around her whole bedroom, with a lil left over that I clipped off. The remote works well. Very easy to adjust the settings. the only thing I didn't like about these lights is that you have to find a spot where the sensor for the remote is easy to access also you don't want wires and stuff hanging down from the ceiling so what we did was start the strips from behind her TV on the wall and place the sensor at the top of the TV and the lights ran perfectly around the whole room without missing a spot, which worked out perfectly for us!!
