I wanted a hard fold tonneau because I believe they offer more security and look better. My only gripe is how much space they cover when opened which results in less usable open bed area. So, I figured a decent compromise is a quad fold tonneau. I read all the reviews and took a chance. Installation was pretty easy but the instructions for a ‘23 ram could have been better. They are not clear as to where to install the weatherstrip on the bulkhead, but I was able to figure it out. The tonneau is secured with two aluminum clamps on the section closest to the cab. The part you unfold is cleverly designed and uses two set of lever- style clamps. The instructions aren’t clear about these either, but basically once you figure out they slide in their “tracks” the rest is easy. They don’t move easily, so if you don’t have someone tell you that they slide, you wouldn’t know it. I also managed to bend one trying to get it to clamp down but that was my fault not positioning it properly. I like the cover. It folds perfectly flat, it’s decently heavy but not overly so, and it even comes with an LED powered light near the tailgate so you can see in the bed when it’s dark. Overall, for the money (which is a third or even quarter of other brands) I’d say give it a shot. It’s not 100% waterproof but I believe I could fix that pretty easily by sealing the bulkhead a little better. This cover does precisely what I wanted for a truck primarily used in winter. It keeps the bed secured and provides a surface from which snow can easily be removed.

It fits perfectly, my only issue is the way you fasten the lashes. You have to pay attention and make sure they are laying down before opening all the way so it doesn't puncture the tonneau
