For the price, I really like these floating frames. I used it to frame my friend's art piece and it looks really good! There are two vertical and horizontal hinges on the back depending on how you want to hang them which is very convenient and sturdier than most frames. The actual wood itself is very light and feels a little cheap but it looks good and unless you are holding it you can't really tell. Handle with care and don't jam the little piece to keep the glass inside as it seems easily breakable. Overall, I give it 5 stars just because I think the value is worth the price as Michael's and Aaron Brothers tend to over-charge and they look really good as long as you're not planning to constantly interchange photos out of them ... show more

Got these for a Christmas gift with wedding photos inside. It was hard to get the glass out but atleast secured (keep the foam slit from the top!!) The picture needs to be taped down though otherwise it will move and not be centered.

The frames are super nice. One of them had a little dent on the wood but you can only see that on close inspection. It took a few attempts to position the photos but once it was done the effect was gorgeous. I would buy again

I honestly love how the glass slides in the top of the frame rather than connecting via the back. The hardest part of using a floating frame is aligning your images correctly, and this design makes it easy to do! They frames are also quite sturdy. I will be purchasing more.

I thought the reviews were exaggerating. These frames have an awesome concept but are poorly made. -The frames have splinters and chunks of paint in random places. -The glass is very well made -The sample picture provided is glued with some very strong glue that doesn't come off and damages the glass. After my mom had a major stroke 6 years ago, she came to live with me and pretty much all she wanted to do is color. I saved all of her “paintings”…as she called them. Mom signed and dated the back of her ‘paintings’. Mom passed away in September. Our first Christmas without her. Her ‘paintings’ are now framed in these wonderful frames and will be given as gifts to my siblings and mom’s sisters. After opening the package and seeing chips and dings in the frames I immediately put back in the packaging and sat down to do a return. Before ordering these I read other reviews saying they were cheap but I thought, "how bad can they be"? Normally I would try to repair the damage but these aren't worth the effort it would take. Very cheap. I usually buy frames at Michaels but they have been out of stock since Christmas. Hope they get their stock in soon cuz I can't use these frames. They make the paintings I want to frame look AWFUL. So bummed. :/ ... show more
