Umm... yeah... this is way more than I needed. I figured I'd add a hitch to my receiver in my little pickup truck, so I could occasionally tow. But I didn't want a cheap HF special, I wanted something solid and substantial. This is SO much more than I want or need! That being said, this is the perfect hitch for somebody who does medium to low end heavy duty towing. First off, it's HEAVY. I weighed it. 30lbs even. And it's super solid. Very easy to assemble, and holds together like a rock. You could tow... well, you could tow something far bigger than my truck is rated for with this, that's for sure. It's got a great, rugged look, is very adjustable, and absolutely is a great hitch if someone needs something this beefy. Seems to me like it'd be worth every penny. I'm gonna go get something a little smaller, though, thanks.

Heck of a hitch. Picked this up to pair with our Chevy Silverado 1500 for light-duty trailer towing, and I’m seriously impressed with the configuration versatility. My youngest son installed it in a snap (and he still thinks torque specs are a suggestion). It’s got all the bells and whistles—4" rise/drop, heavy-duty steel, dual ball sizes, and a D-ring shackle built like it’s ready to pull a mountain out of a ditch. Bonus points for the silencer pads (towing without sounding like a wind chime in a blender = yes, please). Installation was intuitive, the adjustable height options are a godsend, and everything feels solid and secure once it's locked in. This thing doesn’t wiggle. It doesn’t rattle. It doesn’t mess around. If you need a hitch that works across vehicles, trailers, moods, and questionable weekend decisions—this one’s it.

This hitch boasts a 25,000 pound max weight rating with the 2-5/16” ball and 14,000 pounds with the 2” ball. The reciever shaft is solid bar stock with two hitch pin locations and the ball mount is welded to the main bar with a gusset. The ball mount has stainless balls and it has two pins to engage the reciever and raise or lower to match your tongue height. The shackle is located on the end of the ball mount for using kinetic ropes or cables and chains. The anti rattle hitch clamp stops the annoying bump you hear when starting and stopping. The hitch is coated in durable black paint to protect it from the elements and scratches.

Picked up the TIROL 2" adjustable hitch with a 4" drop, and it’s worked great for towing my camper and trailer. Solid build, easy to adjust, and the shackle is a nice bonus. Only downside is it can rattle a bit if not tightened well, but overall it’s a strong and reliable hitch. Great value for heavy-duty towing!
