Upon unboxing this, my first impression was that it is most definitely portable: this is the smallest air pump that I have personally seen (there may be smaller ones out there; I just haven’t laid eyes on them). In fact, when I first saw this, I thought, “There’s no way this thing is going to be robust enough to handle inflating a car.” I tested this using the tires on my crossover SUV, which had gotten a little low in the recent spate of cold-weather. With this thing fully charged, it took right under two minutes to inflate one tire from a base pressure of 28 PSI to the recommended 35 PSI…I was impressed. I was able to similarly “touch up” the air pressure for all four of my tires, and this thing didn’t even seem to break a sweat: the battery indicator was still reading fully charged when I was done. The little lighting effect it does while charging is a nice touch, too (although I can’t help feeling that this might’ve been power, effort, and money better spent elsewhere). The manufacturers thoughtfully included a vehicle-lighter-plug power cord as a back-up, but there is no power adapter/brick for a conventional indoor plug: you’ll have to rely on whatever chargers you have lying around the house. All that being said, there are a couple of annoyances with this item: 1) The device allows the user to switch between both PSI (Imperial) and BAR (metric)measurement options...however, the machine doesn’t recall which measurement system you choose, and defaults to BAR any time you choose a different mode of inflation (car, bicycle, etc.). For those who use the Imperial system of measurements, it’s a definite annoyance. 2) Although the manufacturers of this item provide multiple hose-end attachments for inflating various products (basketballs, air mattresses, etc.), the default one for inflating tires with standard valves (such as those on cars) is a screw-on type, rather than the easier push-on-and-lock tire chuck. This means you will invariably lose some air from your tire whenever you unscrew the hose after inflating. Potentially compounding this issue: the other end of the inflation hose also screws into the air pump…and I found that if this is not tightened well, it can come loose when you are screwing the other end of the hose onto your tire valve. This happened when inflating my second tire: I kept hearing the telltale hiss of leaking air, and it took a few minutes for me to figure out exactly where it was coming from. Both of these factors (particularly the last) were more than enough to warrant deducting one star. Overall, however, I’d have to say this little thing will do the job if you need air in a pinch, especially out on the road.

The media could not be loaded. With this portable inflation pump, I never have to run to the inflation station again. It's great for my car and bike. it will show different colored lights at different tire pressures, so you can easily know if your tires need inflated. You can set the air pressure value of the pump and it will stop automatically when the tire is full. So I don't need a pressure gauge anymore. The air pump comes with a cigarette lighter power cord so you can use your car battery to inflate the pump when the battery runs out. This pump is designed with a leather carrying handle, making it easy to carry. It inflates at a good speed and is not particularly loud, so it's recommended!
