    • First one I got was DOA; replacement works fine. Decent.
Initially, I bought one of these pumps and it arrived totally dead. I sent it back for a replacement, and that one works fine. I have 33 Inch tires on 17 inch wheels on my truck, and it takes about 3-4 minutes to inflate from about 8 psi up to 35 PSI. It gets a bit hot airing up such big tires when empty, and I would be nervous doing more than one at a time with it, but I guess it's just made to get you out of a slow-leak / low spare jam anyway. The cool part is that you just set the PSI you want it to stop at, and turn it on. Once it gets there, it cuts itself off. It has a separate switch for the light, which works, and I guess could come in handy at night. It also comes with a jumper-cable style alligator clip adapter that you can just clip to any 12v battery if your cigarette lighter plug doesn't work. The little carrying bag for it is trash and its zipper broke the first day. It isn't the fastest pump I've seen, but it works fine in a pinch, and all of the cords / coiled air hose are plenty long enough for even the longest stock pickup truck, and don't leak. If you do get one, try it the first day you get it to make sure it works before throwing it in your vehicle! ... show more

I've used it twice without connecting it to the battery and it's worked.It has a very tight fit in the provided storage bag.It would be nice if it had some clips/hooks to attach hose and accessories.

This pump is very fast. More than twice as fast as my 3 other pumps that cost the same as this one. It went from 35psi to 50psi on a truck tire in 4 minutes. Plug and socket get warm. Make sure they are clean and make good contact. Also a little quieter than the others.

    • Works great until it doesn't, also you probably have to pop the hood and hook it to your battery.
I didn't realize that most cars cigarette lighters only have 15 amp fuses which this pump would blow, so most people (me included) have to pop the hood and hook it to the battery. Not really a big deal, and considering it's more powerful it's like ok it makes sense it needs more power. It worked great and was faster than my old pump that ran off my cigarette lighter. After 9 months of moderate use though, it runs fast but doesn't pump so something broke inside... I'm going to try and see if I can replace it under warranty buy I'm kinda sad since my old pump lasted me for like 10 years, and then this one that seemed stronger died in less than a year. ... show more
