  • Is it worth $100??? YES!!! Does it feel real? YES!!! Does it swing like a real golf club? YES!!!
Size: 29
If feels so real in VR it's exactly like a real golf club. I bought this specifically for Golf Plus and it was a breeze to set up, just go in and pick the Deadeye DriVR elite in the menu, its already preconfigured to work with the game! I was skeptical on weather or not this thing would be worth $100 so I tried a cheaper one first, a cheep $30 Amazon one, which was a joke, little more than just a handle. Next I tried the weighted Yezro 90 degree for $60 and that one was much better, but the Yezro is still pretty much just a fancy handle, sure it has weights on it, but its short and it doesn't swig like a real club. The Yezro is well made, its all metal and it has a very premium look and feel and the DriVR Elite Is also very primium, it's all carbon fiber with a real golf grip, and comes with 12 weights so you can really dial it in for your taste. The weight cap on mine is nice machined aluminum and its spring loaded so there is no jiggle once the weights are in. I put all the weights in there and it feels just right to me. The controller holder on the DriVR isn't as premium as the Yezro, but its adequate, the controller fits in there sung and secure and it holds it perfectly so there is ZERO issue with tracking for me. The most important thing is when I'm in VR it feels like I'm holding a real golf club, it looks like I'm holding a real golf club, it feels like I'm swinging a real club and it hits like a real club. You even get the TINK! with haptic feedback making it feel like you just hit a real golf ball! In VR I'm totally immersed and everything feels real and just right. I have no idea or indication that its not a real club. Speaking to the quality of "Golf +" the game, I think its pretty realistic. There is a level of skill involved. I think it's might more forgiving than real golf but you can still slice, hook and pull your shots. I got the special Deadeye Bundle pack, which includes the long Green Carbon Fiber DriVR Elite and the MasterBreaker Haptic VR Pool Cue, for $127, which is freaking AWSOME! A pretty good deal as you get the Drivr elite for $67 and $60 for the Cue. I don't think you have to be a serious golf fanatic to buy this, but if you want it to feel real, just using the controller or a cheap golf handle isn't going to cut it. There are other VR golf clubs out there that will work, just be sure you get something with some length and added weight to the end of it. I think the Yezro 26" looks like it might be a good second choice but the Deadeye DriVR Elite is definitely the best one you can get! you may be a little poorer but you will not be sorry when feel the satisfaction and awesomeness when you are in VR, you will totally be blown away how great it is! ... show more

  • Best Bang for your buck! Them reviews aint hype! Solid and durable! Best Bang for your buck! Them reviews aint hype! Solid and durable!
Size: 30 Inches
Purchased mine last month when it was on sale for $99!! Here’s a thorough breakdown of why the DeadEyeVR DriVR Elite Chrome stands out as the best VR golf club available: The Flexible Stepped Steel Shaft — The Signature Feature This is what separates the Chrome from every other VR golf attachment on the market, including other DriVR models. It features a flexible steel shaft which provides the most realistic feeling of any DriVR model. Real golf clubs flex during a swing — this is what creates that satisfying whip through impact — and the Chrome actually replicates that. No other VR golf club attachment does this. Extended Length & Realistic Weight Distribution Unlike compact VR golf attachments, the DriVR Elite boasts an increased length of around 28 inches. This design pushes the weight further from your hands, replicating the momentum and follow-through of a real golf swing — something shorter attachments simply cannot do. When you hold a short, lightweight handle, your brain knows it’s not a club. The Elite Chrome fools it completely. Variable Weight System The DriVR Elite includes a variable weight system with 100g of optional weights, allowing you to fine-tune the club’s balance. This is a game changer because everyone has a different swing and preference. You can start light and add weight as you get more comfortable, or dial it in to match the feel of your real-world irons or driver. Native Golf+ Integration The DriVR Elite is natively integrated into Golf+. You simply select it from the in-game controller attachments menu. No fiddling with settings, no calibration headaches — it’s plug-and-play with the most popular VR golf game available. Competing products require manual workarounds. Optimal Tracking The reverse controller cup tracks the Quest 3 extremely well. Many cheaper alternatives block the controller’s IR sensors, causing tracking loss mid-swing — possibly the most frustrating thing that can happen in VR golf. The Elite Chrome’s design eliminates this problem. Premium Build Quality The overall build quality feels really good, with premium materials that feel sturdy, durable, and look great. The controller holder is thick and solid with no flex or wobble at all when put under strain. This matters because a loose controller fit introduces inaccuracy into every shot. Real Golfers Feel the Difference One verified buyer who tested multiple VR golf clubs put it best, saying the Elite Chrome felt like a real golf club in every way — the look, the swing, and even the haptic “tink” when making contact felt like hitting a real golf ball. That same buyer had tried cheaper options first and found them to be little more than fancy handles by comparison. Why It Beats Every Competitor Competitors like the Yezro, AMVR, and Virtual Printality’s Golf Grip Pro all have merits, but they each fall short in at least one critical area. The Yezro has a more premium controller mount but is shorter and doesn’t swing like a real club. The AMVR prioritizes tracking angle over realism. The Golf Grip Pro is only 17 inches long. The DriVR Elite is definitively the best VR golf club you can get according to real-world users who have tested the competition side by side. The Chrome version specifically sits at the top of the entire DriVR lineup because of that flexible stepped steel shaft — it’s the one feature that makes it feel less like a toy and more like you’re actually standing on a fairway. ... show more

  • Mixed Feelings, high quality but 3D printed end.
Size: 15 Inches
Overview: Overall I'm happy with the grip, it definitely helps with game immersion and feel, although I wish I would have known the working end was 3D printed Pro: Works well Native support in Golf+ Definitely feels like it's made by a small domestic company. Includes a wall mount, if you're into that kind of thing. Overall build quality is high for the manufacturing process Cons: The working end and wall mount are 3D printed in PLA. While there's noticable weight, it definitely feels light. In-depth: I did a lot of comparison before committing to this shaft. I chose this one because even though it's more expensive, it seemed higher quality. Overall I feel like the folks behind this product do actually care about producing a quality product. Setup was easy as it's a simple setting in Golf+. Even with the added weight it feels light, and to a certain extent, there's no correcting for the polar moment of inertia compared to a real club. It won't help you feel a swing, or fix a swing, but it will definitely make you think anybody position, especially at address and back swing. My main issue is being an engineer and having a 3D printer, I had seriously contemplated printing my own mount and sticking it to a thrift store shaft. I decided against it because like many engineers, I'm lazy. I saw there was always a deadeye setting, and figured it would be fine. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the product isn't the usual AliExpress quality I have come to expect from Amazon lately, but disappointed to find out the end is 3D printed. It smells like PLA, so no leaving in a hot car. The print quality is overall good, which is a relief albeit there was a tiny bit of stringing for the wall mount. My main concerns with 3D printing are the ability for prints to take tension across layers and the forces on the connection to the shaft. With the amount of positive reviews I suppose this is a non-issue, but I with it was injection molded or at least SLA. At least there's solice in that I feel like I'm supporting a local business. And if it breaks, I'll just print another one. ... show more

  • Great product!
Size: 20 Inches
Absolutely love this product! I play Golf+ all the time and it is by far the best attachment I have found. The added weights give it a more real feel of a golf club. If you ever need a tester for new ones, let me know 🙂

  • Great Concept, Unusable Execution, Poor Quality Control and Service.
Size: 30 Inches
The Verdict: Built by Non-Golfers The concept is great and the build feels solid, but the execution is a total miss. It is glaringly obvious that not a single person who understands golf or club mechanics was involved in this design. Even the presenter in their promo videos clearly doesn't know how to swing a club, which explains a lot. The Engineering Flaws: Terrible Specs Non-Existent Swing Weight: Even with all weights installed, it is far too light to register on a standard swing weight scale. It completely ruins your real-world tempo and feel. Mishandled Shaft Profile: They seemingly used a standard steel shaft but cut it down from the butt end instead of the tip. Taking 6 to 8 inches off the butt end means the grip area is drastically stepped down and way too thin. To fix this, they need a proprietary shorter shaft with a true .580 or .600 butt diameter. Poor Business Practice In the video for their newer model, the company openly admits they had to change the layout because this specific bottom-mount design doesn't track well. Selling an outdated, admittedly flawed product that can't handle a real golf swing is just terrible business. Save your money and stay away. UPDATE: Tested & The Tracking is Awful I decided to actually try it out before shipping it back, and the tracking is a disaster. Unless I swing at 50% speed, it completely loses the clubface, leaving it wide open no matter how much I try to shut it. The issue is made even worse by the extremely low swing weight; because the stick is so light, your swing speed naturally increases, which causes the VR sensors to fail and track even less accurately. Update 2: I purchased the newer model and there were no weights included at all... Return again... This is ridiculous. ... show more

  • What a great product to improve your Walkabout and Golf+ game experience.
Size: 17 Inches
*Game Changer* I was going back and forth with this unit or the longer version. I could not see paying $100 for the longer unit so I opted for the mini. I can not be more happy with the choice. Maybe get the longer one in the future, but this unit is going to work very well. Unit was extremely easy to put together. I love that it comes with a weight for more realistic club feel. Immediately I noticed a difference. I first played Walkabout mini golf. Was easy to calibrate the club and the game play was amazing. The club is short so grabbing the controller for movement was really easy. I will love this game so much more with an actual club handle. I make 2 hole in ones on my first round. Then it was off to Golf +. Again, it was extremely easy to calibrate the handle. What a huge difference in my game. So much more realistic play and better control of my swing. I can see that this will actually improve my actual golf game and it is so much cheaper than going to the driving range. Get this!!! You wont be disappointed. ... show more

  • Swing feels very natural, great for Golf+ on VR
Size: 15 Inches
as an avid golfer I decided to pick up a club handle for Golf+. A golf grip just doesn't feel right on the Quest Controllers and I was getting weird swing results. Connecting the controller to the DeadEye is extremely easy. it fits really snug and I had no worries that it would come flying out and destroy something in the process. It has a decent grip on it and feels good, but I may regrip with something I use on my own clubs. The swing weight feels great with the controller mounted and I feel that you take a fairly natural golf swing with the device. I took a few practice swings in the golf+ range to see if I needed to change any settings after attaching. Golf+ has options to choose your swing device in the settings menu, the DeadEye is the first option just an FYI. The only clunky part which really isn't the devices issue, is having to switch back and forth between holding the club grip to swing and holding the attached controller to navigate the game menus. I had to reset the club length after attaching the swing stick, being a taller guy I had maxed out the in game club length. Now, I started out by testing the attachment by taking bunker shots, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! hitting out of the sand was insanely inconsistent before using the Deadeye adapter. I was able to manipulate the shots better by opening and closing the face and I didn't feel like I was "flicking" my wrists like I did with the controller alone. after feeling confident about the bunker shots I moved on to driving, most shots were straight as an arrow and when they weren't, I knew my swing was at fault. lastly putting, I didn't spend too much time putting yet, but it does give you a more natural pendulum feel and I can feel that after some adjustments it will be more intuitive. all in all this is a great product, if anything changes Ill be back to update my review, but I am hard pressed to believe that will happen. ... show more
