With over 20 pages of portable tire inflators on Amazon, it is hard to know which one you should buy and there is no way that anyone could possibly rate which one is best. These inflators come in all sizes, design styles, features and price range. I think the newer models are gravitating toward the “brick” design which is more compact and easier to store in the small storage areas in the modern SUV's. As these units go up in price, generally they include more features and possibly better components. The lower cost units run on external 12 Volts and need to be plugged in to the power plug (cigarette lighter) to operate. This style is fine if you only plan to use it as an emergency device in a vehicle. The next more expensive units have internal batteries that are charged from a USB port and can be used to inflate bicycle tires and sport balls away from a 12V source. And the more expensive units like this CJYGEGE inflator have both, which means they are more versatile and can blow up vehicle tires even if the internal battery is exhausted. This CJYGEGE unit appears to be well built and works exactly as described in the literature. I did my standard test and let a few pounds out of a tire and then auto inflated it with this device. When I drove the vehicle again, the TPMS confirmed the proper inflation. When using this device, or any similar ones, you want to hold the device, even is you could stand it on the ground, because there is an air intake for the cooling fan on the bottom of the device. If you need or want a full featured compact inflator, then this CJYGEGE unit should be on your short list.

Few things can be as frustrating as a flat tire. The last two times I had a flat, my spare was nearly empty (less than 10lbs) b/c it had been so long before the last one and that's a real nightmare. This unit is small and light. You could easily keep it in your backpack day to day and forget it was there, or in my case, underneath the passenger seat. You can easily find a place for it in your car for if/when you need it. I haven't had it long enough to determine how well it keeps the charge, but assuming you have a working battery and your lighter works, it's not much of a problem. You plug the power into the lighter jack, turn it on and off you go. It includes several different valves so you can inflate vehicle tires to bicycle tires to air mattresses. It shows the current pressure on the display pretty clearly so you know how much to put in. This is geared toward getting you out of jams not so much being the ideal inflation tool. If you have very high PSI tires on a bike or truck, it may leave you hanging a little short but getting your car tires inflated to 35psi, no problem. It works well and does what it's supposed to. Hopefully it's got a long shelf life, I can't tell them from here but I used it to keep my tires at the same pressure last week and remembered to inflate the spare for good measure, I'd encourage you to not overlook the spare b/c it's a real bummer if you do and end up needing it.

I finally had an opportunity to use this, as we prepared for a trip to the beach. Starting from a full charge, I inflated two small beach balls and one fairly large unicorn floatie, and was down to one bar left on the battery. It's a bit noisy, as these things typically are, but came with all the necessary accessories and is easy to use.

I have a few of these types of cordless battery powered pumps and this one is very nice. It is louder than the other but maybe that makes sense because it seems to be a bit more powerful as well. The design is also a bit more compact and feels more like a small square brick. Its super easy to screw on the air hose and begin inflating your tire.The carry bag is nice and also the pump includes a few accessories to attach to the air hose. The battery life seems pretty good but don't expect any miracles. It does have good power but it's also not a high flow pump, so keep that in mind. Larger tires will take longer. Overall 5 stars! I am keeping this one in my personal vehicle for now, since its a bit smaller but more powerful than some of my others. Thank you and I hope this was helpful!

I got this to have just in case I get a flat tire while driving or something. But then my neighbor called asking if I had an air compressor because their lawn mower tires were flat. I realized this comes in HANDY! I like the digital gage, it creates less worry youre over/under inflating. It is small, compact, and portable. It holds a charge for a long time.

I ordered this portable air compressor to carry in the car and hopefully never have to use. I met up with a friend who had a low tire and was uncomfortable driving far without resolving the situation, so an excellent opportunity for a live field test! Since it was the first use, the internal battery was not charged at all, but the kit does include a power cable, so no worries. It was easy to use, after giving up and checking the instruction booklet ;). We got the hose attached to the tire, selected car tire on the device, set the desired pressure and hit start. The tire was inflated to what we set in just a couple short minutes. I haven't had a need to try it on anything else, such as a bike tire, pool float, balls, etc. But I'm glad I got a chance to test the compressor in a real scenario on a car tire, since I got it for peace of mind when travelling. I would recommend everyone have one for those unexpected emergencies.
