I was hoping these were a little bigger but they were just too small for my needs. The material seems good and I like that they came with string to affix the patch, but I just couldn't use them based on the size vs. my need. I suspect thats on me, not the product. I ordered this sports net repair kit to fix a large hole in our trampoline net. For starters, the packaging is really professional, like something you'd buy off the rack at a sports equipment store. To open, you rip the top off at the notches, revealing a resealable press & zip seal - really nice, since this is a 3-pack and may need to be stored for future use. The actual nets are very sturdy, with the outer rim thicker than the inner netting. They are a little wonky at first and requires a little manipulation in order to facilitate the square shape. The binding cords that comes in the package (3 of them) is almost exactly the same length as the perimeter of the squares, so after the winding/weaving to repair any holes, the cord isn't long enough to make it around the entire square. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, because everything else was great, and as seen in the picture, it did the job (with the bottom of the right panel not secured. This was honestly a life saver, as I hadn't found anything else really on the market that would work for my purposes. I can absolutely see how this would be beneficial for repair of many other kinds of nets as well. I'd love to see multiple sized patches too, like a 4" and a 12", but I'll definitely be ordering again! ... show more

    • Should work for repairs to a dog carrier
I actually got this to repair the mesh in a soft-sided dog carrier that the dog had ripped the netting on. Granted, it is a mis-match for the mesh, but it should still do the job, my only complaint is that the patch is distorted, forming an elongated unit instead of square. I tried wetting it out and stretching it to shape while it dried, but it still wants to elongate. The repair will be done using needle and thread due to the item I'm putting it on, so it will be a bit tedious, and if the perimeter had been canvas or strapping, it would make the job a bit easier, but this is what I have to work with. ... show more
