it is relatively inexpensive … it is plastic and the air hose connector seems cheap…i would believe the pump motor is light duty… i filled few of my car tires that were a few pounds down…took about 2 minutes…not fast… it it were a totally flat car tire…i think it would take considerable time… summary: it is a nice device…i think best for light duty such as topping off your tire occasionally or in your trunk for that uncommon flat… if you really need to use this frequently such as daily….i would go level up to pumps from milwaukee or dewalt that are 2x-3x the price… it is good for the price but the price is low for a reason…for me it’s fine

Product appears to be fine. When I opened the box, the black carrying case that it arrived in had mold/mildew on it that won't easily be wiped off. I've ordered this exact same item previously and it didn't have this issue. The product itself is great and will pump up a tire just fine. I love the cordless feature.

I purchased this to check the tires on an old car that I have stuffed in my garage. It hasn't run or been outside since midway through the GWB administration - and the tires looked like they were getting low. My old small portable air compressor is on its last leg and only works with the cigarette lighter attachment. So I needed an AC hook-up to fill the tires on the old "friend". I was able to crawl between shelves/boxes etc.. to get to the tires and hook up the inflator. It hooked up really easily and immediately showed the current pressure on a large LCD screen that even I could read clearly. I pushed the button to fill and nothing happened...except a light came on brightening up the space and making it clear to see what I was doing. Looking closer, I hit the light button, not the inflate one. Yea, there is a light in this thing as well. After hitting the correct "inflate" button the tire filled up nicely and the LCD screen tracked the progress in real time - and the light helped me see what I was doing. I finished inflating all 4 tires in 15 or so minutes, with most of the time used for wedging myself into various places to get to the tires. The unit is compact and very lightweight. Easy to use as well - there is a manual with it that is easy to read and understand...but of course I didn't read it until I finished. Yes a typical dude, I am. If you are looking for a nice tire inflator, look no further.

Cars alerted me that all 4 tires of both cars - were suddenly underpressure. That happens when the air temperature drops in the Fall. So it is inconvenient to find a working air pump at any local gas station: everybody else is trying to inflate. So. I shopped and bought this pump. It works. I used it both from the car's cigarette-lighter (12VDC) and from wall current from the house. It took a moment to figure out that I had to push the appropriate button AFTER getting everything set up, but once that was figured out, it worked quite nicely. It took about a minute to add 5PSI to a tire - about the same amount of time as the ones at the gas station. Easy to read display. Feels pretty solid. The 12VDC cord is actually pretty short so you may want to get an extension of some kind if you intend to use it that way, but it is really nice to have the option of power sources: House or car. I'm quite pleased that I won't have to wait in line at the "public" pumps anymore - and I can inflate my bicycle and unicycle tires as an added plus.

This is a great portable air compressor. I had a different air compressor and used mine on my wife’s SUV making it possible for her to have enough air in the tire to get it repaired without me having to put on the spare tire. I was so grateful for the experience I decided to get a portable air compressor for all my kids to keep in their cars. Ends up this compressor is faster than the one I have because it has two compressors in the unit. It already has helped a couple of the kids as one thought they had a spare in their vehicle and found out it was not there as they had not got the spare fixed and another one of our kids came out from the store and found she had a flat tire. (Yes, these are adult kids in their 30s to early 40s.)

Overall a very nice product with just one problem. The only problem I have with this unit, is the valve stem lever is plastic, instead of hard metal. This is the second unit I have purchased. The first unit was a slightly different model but had the same plastic lever value stem, which was the first thing that broke. It did last for quite a while before it broke but I have learned to be very careful when pushing down the valve stem lever. Never push down from far edge of the lever, as the plastic lever seems to weaken with several uses, until it snaps in half, making the unit worthless, even through it still pumps air. If used with caution it is very handy product that works well for it's size. I just wish they would charge an extra dollar and make the valve stem all metal, which would make this an excellent product instead of just good. I liked this product enough to give it a second try and up-graded the model to this unit. I was hoping this up-graded unit would have an all metal valve stem but didn't. If this lever breaks I will not give it another try as I will treat the plastic lever with caution this time. I would still recommend this product but use it carefully.
