Clean the axle, gently smooth surface buildup using finegrit sandpaper, wipe it thoroughly and add a thin coat of grease. Next, line up the 3/16" keyway and axle key before sliding the wheel onto the axle.

What you get is a full pneumatic tire-and-wheel set: tubeless tires pre-mounted on steel rims. They take air, so they're not solid or flat-free tires. Why does the replacement wheel feel too tight when my mower's axle is 3/4"? If dimensions match, clean the axle first. Older axles may have rust or buildup, so clear the 3/16" key stock area and grease before installing. Never sand to force a mismatched wheel. Are these compatible with a 20x10.00-8 wheel size? Confirm your equipment can use the 20x8.00-8 tire size before installing.
