    • There Is Good And Bad With This One

The media could not be loaded. First, the good... This light is inexpensive, but doesn't look that way after it's installed. It's very simple to install, works as advertised, the magnet holds the light very secure against the bracket, and I personally like this light. It absolutely accomplished my goal of wanting a picture light to show off my art, despite the issues I'll explain below. The Bad... If you're using the supplied charging cable, it will take a long time to charge fully. I plugged the light in around 5pm and it wasn't finished by the time I went to bed at midnight! When I charged it the second time, it took well over 7 hours. It doesn't hold a charge very long. The first time I used this I had to recharge the light after having it on a total of about 7 hours. As stated above, it took more than 7 to recharge again. There is no way to tell how much of a charge you have. The light will simply shut off and refuse to turn on when it's time to charge again. They do not supply an outlet plug for the usb charger. While I have a few in my house, it would be a nice touch to not have to use another device's plug to speed up the charging process. The on/off switch is extremely sensitive. If you come remotely close to it, the light will cycle the power. Over all, this light would be phenomenal if it held a charge longer and it charged quicker. But, it does get the job right and for the price, I was expecting there to be a few issues. Good luck! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to enhance the details on my painting. I like that it is remote controlled. It works very well as you can see by my video. It has 3 types of lighting.Warm, white and natural. It has a plus and minus button to go from dim to really bright. It attaches to the bracket(the light) that is magnetic. So you can put the bracket where you want it the hold your light to it and it’s attached. The bracket is made of a nice heavy metal. Also you can put bracket turn up and light will still attach to the underside even though the magnet is facing up on top. It also has a cord so you can recharge it so you aren’t having to buy batteries all the time. As you can see I should have put my light up a tad higher but oh well it works for me. Also when we change the volume on our tv the light comes on. I just keep my picture remote with my tv remote and turn it off if I don’t want it on. I have those fairy lights and they do the same thing. I would purchase this again. Me and my husband just laugh and I grab the remote and turn it off.😃 ... show more

These lights are pretty awesome! I love the magnet feature! We can take them off to grab water in the middle of the night. I also use them to read before bed without disturbing my hubby! Easy to install and totally worth it! The battery lasts forever too! Which is great!

Looking for easy lighting without hiring an electrician to hard wire. These fit the bill, Dislike: if I’m being picky, it would be the cheaper gold color verse a nice brass look. I live in a coastal ACK house where brass would be more appealing, but these are so sleek and add a nice modern touch without needing to polish them. Easy to charge, I can use one remote for all four that I bought. They’re hanging near each other (five feet apart) and they respond very well when I point to one from afar without all reacting to the remote at once. Easy to install, I like the solid wall mount on these verse others on Amazon that have an open space in the middle. I did return the 13” and went with the 16” for all walls, the 16” looks better even with smaller paintings, would absolutely recommend. ... show more
