Tingley Flite boots are made from Aerex 1.5.5, a proprietary, chemical- resistant, thermally-insulative microcellular polymer, resulting in boots that are over 40% lighter compared to most steel toe PVC and rubber knee boots. I bought Tingley Flite 26256 composite safety toe knee boots with chevron outsole, men’s 9/women’s 11 (blue/red). This is a longer review, but wanted to share my input. I’ve tried a lot of boots for “outside work” and for me these boots have the best attributes and are a good value considering their usability and long lasting quality. I bought these boots to work in the yard in sloppy or wet conditions, for things like gardening, doing landscaping, and applying lawn fertilizer with a spreader on a half-acre a few times a year. I bought these in 2021, so now going on three years with these boots. While I don’t use them everyday so can’t attest to that sort of wear, mine are still in great condition and I highly recommend these boots!! These are waterproof, so your feet and lower legs do get hot & sweaty in warmer weather. But knowing these are waterproof (and don’t have a liner), trapping heat & perspiration sort of goes hand-in-hand…. No shocker there. I wear mine with two pairs of socks: first pair is an ankle sock like you’d wear with sneakers; the second is a tall-ish Fox River boot sock. Wearing two pairs of socks helps my foot not slide around, and also prevents any potential ankle bite. The boot material to me has the perfect amount of flex: you can walk, bend, etc. with minimal restriction. Another bonus: you can easily hose off the entire exterior of these boots. (No material or neoprene to avoid). The sole of the boot is a great combination, for me. Good grip with tread so you don’t slip. Enough cushioning so you don’t kill you feet when standing and working on a bed of gravel, for example. Enough “bounce” to cut down on your feet feeling tired. These are also very lightweight, so saves your feet and legs from feeling tired just from wearing a particular boot. In sneakers I wear a 10.5 women’s wide (I have wide feet). I also have pretty thick calves. I bought Tingley Flite 26256 composite safety toe knee boots with chevron outsole, men’s 9/women’s 11 (blue/red). With my two pairs of socks, these fit very well. I highly recommend these boots!!

After numerous research on reviews of rubber boots, I finally decided to go with these Tingleys. They are very lightweight, the insoles are comfortable, not sure how long that will last but they are replaceable. The toe box is wide enough for my wide foot. Sizing I usually wear a 10 1/2 in boots and I bought a size 11. They work perfectly as I wear a pair of wool socks with them. The soles may be an issue. I have noticed that the way I walk there is already some good wear on the heel. But overall, these are some great boots. They hold up well to any chemicals I use on the job. Quick rinse off and they are good to go. If you work in an wet environment or around chemicals, I highly highly recommend these boots. BTW, they are great in the snow as well. Buy these!!

Loved everything about them but got the wrong size. Needed a 5.5 but only had whole size, so I ordered next size up. No Bueno. Got blisters on toes, wore for a week, now sitting in my closet. Unsure if they will take back and give me a 5.

My husband wears a 13 XW (4E) shoe. We have bought and returned 4 other pair that were all too narrow. I told him we were looking for a unicorn so from now on, these will be called the unicorn boot because they fit perfectly!

These boots are very light ,comfy. The only problems I have is that the inserts do not last very long, maybe two weeks and the pair of size 12s boots got a leak after a year and 8 months. The pair my employer got for me where still fine after 3 years of wearing 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week. I did order another pair of size 11, I will do another review as needed. Got another pair, they hurt my toes, the inserts just don't do the job, I purchases new inserts, but the boots make my feet sweat and stink. Update my boots hurt my ankle so I cut the tops down, they ate doing good now, but its about time for another pair, only a size smaller.
