im in the process of tinkering with my system so trying this one out due to curiosity since its so cheap. i dont think it will be permanent since its huge and does not fit anywhere without cutting a big hole and not oem the way they look. technically theses are made for pa sound systems not for cars but that doesnt stop people from installing in either locations. works. loud. seems to be quality. the sound quality is commercial or spl for loudness. i wouldnt say it sounds amazing as in sound quality but it is loud and clear. it is also extremely directional so i had to point it up towards my ears. i had it installed flat against door panel but it didnt sound as loud or clear. keep in mind its a 3 1/2 inch round block so its pretty beefy. and then it has a little capacitor which is attached dangling from one terminal attached to filter out bass notes. i have it connected to a 100x4 amplifier. i have not tested its peak rms power due to not trying to lose my hearing. it was loud enough to be satisfied and keep up with 2x750w rms dual 12 subwoofers and 150w rms x 2 mids ... show more

These super tweeters are an excellent product and are loud asf! They pair flawlessly with my mids and they've been the only tweets that I've been able to throw a good amount of power at while maintain clarity in the reproduction of the frequency ranges I've crossed them to. I had DS18 super tweeters prior but they were crackling and just sounded flat if that makes sense? No depth to the range unlike the timpano. I cross them over at 2500hz to 8k and have even gone as far as 1200k to 10k hz without any issues but that's me. ... show more
