Have been wearing this watch style for over 35+ years. Love that you can push the button to see time in the dark, its not digital, battery last a year or longer, easy to read & I like the look of it. Have you ever been asked “what time is it?” And you don’t have a watch. So you have to pull out your astrolabe, and spend some time trying to remember how to use it. I was not sure about ordering a used but restored watch. When the order arrived I was pleased at how well it was wrapped and it was in, what appeared to be, the original box. The watch had a brand new wrist band and it was tight and showed no signs of wear. The watch itself was pristine with no scratches or marks. I was pleased to see that the watch also contained a correct and working battery. I set the time and it waited a few hours to see if it kept good time. It was correct, to the second.     • Time passes but these watches do not notice..

I bought this watch on December 2, 2015. Two months later it stopped completely. I contacted Timex. They sent me a prepaid label for sending it back. I sent it back. About three weeks later they sent it back to me, repaired, they said. No charge. It worked for about a week and then started gaining about a half hour every hour. On April 26, 2016 I phoned Timex. They said they would send me a new one, along with a prepaid label, and when I receive the new watch and label, I should use the prepaid label to send back the old one. The watch is pretty and easy to read. But it has not been of much use so far. ------------------ After writing my customer review up to this point, a customer service representative from Timex wrote me to apologize for the problems, and told me that I was to contact him directly if I had further problems. The new watch arrived on May 2, 2016. No charge. I used the prepaid label to send the old one back. Because Timex was so reasonable, I changed my rating from one to two stars. I will update this review in two months or whenever the watch fails, if it fails before the end of the two months. ------------------- Update: the new watch was still working as of July 4, 2016. My wife likes it. So I have promoted it to three stars. I couldn't be happier with this wrist watch. I can easily read the numbers on the face without fishing around for my reading glasses. The indigo light was a nice bonus as I didn't know about that feature when I ordered it. Just the touch of the side button turns on the display for as long as the button is pressed. I am surprised with how soft the band is. My wrist is on the smaller side, I utilize the 3rd hole in to fasten and there is plenty of room. It claims to have a 10 year battery life- so far so good but I did just get this watch. I found it to be a very good value. ... show more

Bought as a gift for my daughter. Size is great, perfect for her wrist. Dial is clear and easy to read too. Packaging was a single plastic bag, definitely sub-par, as the plastic holder had broken into several pieces. The indiglo function needs to be properly quality-checked too. At first glance it looked okay, but it does not properly cover the entire watch face. There seems to be a dead zone below the 6 o’clock digit. I’ve looked at other reviews and noted this is not an isolated issue. My daughter doesn’t seem to mind too much, but it would bother me no end. ... show more
