I purchased this RAM, Timetec 64GB KIT(2x32GB) DDR4 3200MHz, as an upgrade for my Dell Precision 7540 laptop that came with just 16GB of 2666MHz DDR4. I initially purchased, three weeks earlier, 2 sticks of comparable, but less expensive, G.Skill RipJaws DDR4 3200MHz CL22. Unfortunately they had issues in my laptop, as they were causing random lockups and couldn't complete several strenuous memory tests I put them through when diagnosing the lockups. These Timetec memory sticks have no such issues, even though they are rated faster than what originally came in my system. I can confidently say after 8 months of usage that this memory is rock stable. I use my machine with both Windows and Linux and run multiple virtual machines for school within each with no hiccups. While this RAM is more expensive than some brands it appears to be just as stable and comparable to more expensive brands like Corsair and Micron. The ironic thing is it appears Dell itself has been using this brand for some time. When I took my original 16GB from my 7540 to upgrade the 4GB in my Mom's older laptop, it turns out Dell had installed Timetec sticks from the factory. To me it was reassuring to learn that this company's quality is good enough to be used as OEM by such a large manufacturer as Dell.

One of the best SODIM 3200 memory for any laptop or mini PC. This memory is duel rank with cas of 22. It does not require any XMP abilities from your BIOS to run it. Duel rank memory (same Cas latency and speed) will increase your computer processing speed by up to 10% depending on the type of application you run. At worst you will see nothing compared to single-rank memory. At the best, you may see up to 10% faster in some applications like gaming. Usually, 3 to 5% is not unheard of for most applications. Duel rank memory costs more to produce so very few manufacturers produce them. And even fewer will list the Rank levels on their advertisements. I give Timetec props for making the rank size printed making it easy to see in their listings. If you are planning to try manually overclocking your memory then you may want to purchase single-rank memory. Rank 2 will usually overclock less than rank 1 memory. The same goes for rank 4, compared to 2 and 1. If you need single-rank memory, Timetec offers those also. This memory uses high-quality Micron memory chips. This is as easy as it gets to upgrading memory on laptops or mini PCs. True plug-and-play. Just make sure your laptop does not have soldered memory before purchasing any memory. If it is soldered then no memory will work to upgrade your system in that case. Check your computer's manual, or ask the maker of the laptop to find out.

I bought this ddr4 for it's rated timings. My mini pc doesn't support xmp and automatically overclocked this memory to 3200mhz but without xmp I don't get the cl16 timings and am stuck with cl22. Not what I was hoping for but it's fast reliable and responsive at cl22 3200mhz.
