Constructed with a highly abrasion-resistant Ever-Guard leather upper, this ankle boot features our unique Timberland PRO 24/7 Comfort System technology that meets the most rigorous worksite demands while helping reduce foot fatigue by supporting your arch and cushioning every step. For hardworking impact, safety, and heat protection, we also added an external, hinged metatarsal guard that even offers protection when squatting, a steel safety toe, electrical hazard protection, a durable steel shank, heat-resistant thread on the upper and welt, and a heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking rubber outsole for rugged traction. The breathable, moisture-wicking lining is made of ReBOTL material containing at least 50% recycled plastic.

The media could not be loaded. These Timberlines are really solid boots to protect your feet when working with anything hard or heavy. The metal tarsal guard is a lot less bulky and Frankenstine'ish looking than the leather models with better protection, so that is also a plus. Regarding fit, I take an 8.5 and these fit as expected. The meta-guard is attached to the top shoe laces, but the design is well done, so it's still pretty quick and easy to put the boots off and on. Lever down the top of the guard and that loosens the laces enough to slip your foot out or get your fingers in to loosen the laces a little more. Just don't lever the guard too far or you may have to re-thread the laces back in the top eyelets. I can't speak to long-term durability, as I've only had them less than a year, but from the sturdy build, I expect they'll last for years to come. As far as protection, so far they've protected my feet from a few potential mishaps with a dropped heavy tool and again with a tractor implement. If you need Metatarsal Guard boots for work, or you're just tired of hammering your feet with heavy objects when working around the garage, farm or shop, you'll love these boots. So far I give these boots a 5 star. Love the amount of protection they provide. Had a pair of RedWings with Burnr boots with the metatarsal protection. They were good but expensive and they didn’t last very long before the toe cap wore out. These timberlands are comfortable as expected, not a tone of flexibility in the toe area but that’s expected with the type of boot. Can’t speak to longevity of these as i just got them. But I’ve had Timberland work boots in the past and they held up very well. ... show more

Grabbing my third pair of these boots, in the past 5 years. I personally love them, my feet feel indestructible in them lol. My first pair really saved my foot from being shattered. Breaking them in is not bad either. These will 100% last a year plus. I torture mine and they held up great. They are a bit on the heavy side but im used to that so it doesn't bother me personally.
